What is a MONGRIP bracelet?
MONGRIP uses portions of tires from motorsport events in bracelet designs. Its GP Race Rascasse listing, for example, pairs tire material with 925/1000 silver and a hidden clasp. The brand also offers models with different metals and design details. That makes these pieces a motorsport-inspired jewelry option rather than conventional metal-only bracelets.
How are the tire and serial number documented?
MONGRIP says its jewelry comes with a guarantee certificate attesting to the metal type and tire portion. In its brochure, the company says tires are analyzed before processing and that each bracelet is individually numbered to identify the tire used. It also describes laboratory analysis of chemical and structural characteristics in line with REACH and other European and international standards. The tire story can be more specific for a particular model. The product page for the X Monaco Grand Prix Signature Limited Edition describes a section of a rear wet-weather tire used during the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix and a 500-piece collaboration with the Automobile Club de Monaco. Treat that as the brand’s stated provenance for the edition, and review the certificate and product details for the exact bracelet being considered.

How to choose the bracelet size
MONGRIP lists standard lengths of 165, 180, 195, and 210 mm for the GP Race Rascasse and recommends selecting a length based on wrist circumference and preferred fit:
- Add 5 mm to wrist circumference for a tighter fit.
- Add 10 mm for a normal fit.
- Add 15 mm for a more comfortable fit.
Measure with a flexible tape, or wrap paper around the wrist and measure it with a ruler. The brand says the tire material softens with wear. If a standard length does not suit you, the Rascasse page says custom sizing is available for an extra charge and adds five days to delivery; confirm the current terms on the product page.

The Rascasse listing describes optional engraving on the back of the clasp, up to 16 characters, for an additional charge and five extra days. Confirm current pricing, timing, and availability before ordering.
