The current US-listed examples span 42 mm bronze and steel models and a larger 43.5 mm CARBO₂ edition. Their case materials, configurations and listed prices differ enough that the exact reference matters more than the collection name.
How the Geosphere’s world-time display works
Instead of showing world time with a conventional city ring alone, the Geosphere uses two turning globes to represent the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. A 24-hour scale and day/night indication help interpret the globes. The cited 0 Oxygen models also include a date. Montblanc describes the display on the MB129415 and MB133303 product pages.

The concept is visually distinctive, but a product description alone cannot establish how quickly or intuitively a particular wearer can read it. If world-time legibility is a priority, ask to see the globes moving and have the seller demonstrate how to read a time zone on the exact reference you are considering.
Which current references are documented?
These are page-listed US prices from Montblanc’s official pages at the time checked, not guaranteed transaction prices or confirmation of stock. The product pages retrieved do not state a power reserve for the three current examples below.

Montblanc says the CARBO₂ case material is made using a process that captures CO₂ from biogas production and mineral waste from recycling factories. That is the brand’s description of its material process, not an independently verified environmental assessment.
A historical reference is not a specification for every Geosphere
The 2018 Geosphere reference 119347 is listed by the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève as 42 mm in diameter, 12.8 mm thick, water-resistant to 100 m and equipped with a 42-hour power reserve. Its entry records a launch price of 6,380 CHF including VAT. That is historical context, not a like-for-like current US price comparison, and the reserve figure should not be assumed for later references whose pages do not state it.

Other Geosphere references can differ in movement and functions: Wempe lists the MB000033 as a 42 mm steel watch with automatic MB 29.14, date, world time and a second-time-zone display. Check the reference number before comparing specifications.
What 0 Oxygen means—and what it does not prove
Montblanc says the 0 Oxygen construction removes oxygen from the case and is intended to prevent fogging during drastic temperature changes and prevent oxidation. The brand’s MB129415 page says it is “totally devoid of oxygen to improve the watch’s performance and precision over time, even in some of the harshest mountain environment.” This is manufacturer positioning; the available product information does not provide independent measurements of timing performance, fog resistance or long-term durability.

Accordingly, 0 Oxygen is a construction claim and a stated design rationale, not evidence that the watch will keep better time than another Geosphere or remain trouble-free for longer. Buyers seeking a performance comparison should look for independent testing of the exact reference.
How to decide whether the Geosphere suits you
Choose by size and material first
The documented cases are 42 mm for MB129415 and MB133303, and 43.5 mm for MB132300. Diameter alone does not determine wrist fit: thickness, lug shape, strap or bracelet, and how the case sits all matter. The current official pages cited here do not establish thickness for these three models. Try the exact watch on, ideally with its intended strap or bracelet, rather than assuming a 42 mm Geosphere will wear like another 42 mm watch.

Match the functions to how you travel
The MB129415 and MB133303 specifications list the dual-hemisphere world-time display, 24-hour scale, day/night indication and date. MB132300 lists world time, dual time and date. If you need a simple second time zone rather than a globe-based world-time display, compare the operation and readability in person instead of relying on the function names alone.
Verify the exact edition and offer
Limited-edition counts differ by reference: MB129415 is listed at 1,786 pieces and MB132300 at 1,969. These counts identify editions, not current availability. Before buying, confirm the reference on the watch and paperwork, the condition, included accessories, seller, market, warranty terms and actual stock. A retailer listing for a different Geosphere is not proof that a particular current reference is available.
