The current Naoya Hida & Co. NH TYPE2C-2 is a 2026 derivative of the earlier NH TYPE 2C, not the same watch with an unchanged specification. Cal. 3020CS
The manual-winding Cal. 3020CS drives central seconds. The manufacturer specifies 22 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour (4 Hz) and approximately 45 hours of power reserve. Naoya Hida & Co. describes an “Originally designed click and click spring for comfortable winding.” That is the maker’s description of the winding mechanism, not a claim established by independent testing.

The supplied hand-stitched strap is made by THE SOLE. It uses VEAU EPSOM leather on the front and calf leather for the lining. Its lug width is 20 mm and its buckle width is 16 mm; the pin buckle is SUS904L. Any replacement strap should be checked for attachment type, length, lug width and buckle compatibility before purchase.

Is the NH TYPE2C-2 available?
According to Naoya Hida & Co.’s official homepage, the 2026 production is sold out. The company says the next purchase application period is scheduled for May 2027, but it does not offer backorders, cancellations or a mailing list, and 2027 availability is not guaranteed. Because application timing and stock can change, check the official homepage for the current notice.

What “haute minimalisme” means for this watch
Here, the phrase is an editorial description, not a technical designation used by the maker. The minimalism is visible in the restrained dial treatment and 37 mm case diameter; the haute element is expressed through the porcelain dial, hand-painted details and a purpose-built manual-winding centre-seconds movement.
