Nectere’s debut Order From Chaos collection comprises three asymmetric mechanical watches: The Dune, The Forest and The Mist. The Kickstarter campaign ran from April 18 to May 23, 2025, raising HK$690,019 from 180 backers against a HK$52,000 goal. The launch is over: as of October 7, 2026, Nectere’s catalog listed all three original models as sold out.
What is the Nectere Order From Chaos collection?
Order From Chaos is Nectere’s first watch collection, built around an irregular, asymmetric case and a time-only display. The brand describes the concept as a reflection on how seemingly chaotic lives and decisions form a continuing thread through time. The South China Morning Post’s January 15, 2026 founder interview links the collection’s inspiration to chaos theory.
The campaign offered three colorways, each described at launch as limited to 175 pieces per color:
- The Dune: salmon-colored dial and taupe strap.
- The Forest: green dial and black strap.
- The Mist: silver dial and green strap.
Those edition counts are campaign-era claims; they do not establish how many watches were ultimately produced or delivered.

Published specifications and design
Fratello’s April 19, 2025 launch coverage reported the following specifications. They are published product details, not independent test results.
| Feature | Published specification |
|---|---|
| Case | Asymmetric stainless steel |
| Diameter | 40.5 mm |
| Length | 38 mm |
| Thickness | 10 mm including the domed crystal; 8.5 mm without it |
| Crystal | Domed sapphire |
| Movement | Seagull ST17, hand-wound |
| Beat rate and power reserve | 21,600 vibrations per hour; 39 hours |
| Water resistance | 3 ATM / 30 m |
| Strap | 18 mm leather, with quick-release spring bars |
| Functions | Hours, minutes and an off-center small-seconds subdial |
The dial combines sunburst and engraved textures, with the small seconds set away from the center. Because the case is not conventionally round, its published 40.5 mm diameter alone may not predict how it sits on a wrist. Fratello’s reviewer subjectively felt it wore more like a 36–37 mm round watch; that is a wrist impression, not a measured equivalent size.

Kickstarter dates, funding and launch pricing

The South China Morning Post reported that the first orders were fulfilled in September 2025. Its January 2026 account also noted that production and delivery were complicated by U.S. tariffs. That report does not establish how tariffs or delivery costs applied to buyers in other destinations.

What campaign backers were told about winding, warranty and shipping
Nectere’s Kickstarter FAQ described the watches as hand-wound and set out the following terms for campaign backers. They are campaign terms, not a statement of the current shop policy for other products.
- Warranty: 24 months from shipment for defects. The FAQ excluded accidental damage and misuse.
- Refunds and exchanges: The campaign FAQ said campaign-backed watches were not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
- Customs and shipping: Shipping costs and import fees varied by destination, and applicable customs or import fees were the buyer’s responsibility. The FAQ described a duty-paid process for U.S. buyers in which the creator would notify them of the amount before shipment.
The campaign FAQ also said the watches were designed in Hong Kong, with components made and the watches assembled in China, and that the founders monitored manufacturing and quality checks. This is the campaign’s account of production and oversight, not an independent audit.
