Merci Instruments’ current LMM-01 Originals collection lists four models: Dress and Numerals at €560 each, and Militare and Scientifique at €530 each. All four share a 38 mm stainless-steel case and hand-wound movement; their main differences are dial design, legibility details, and included strap. Prices are those shown on Merci’s collection page on October 8, 2026, and may change.

How each model differs
Dress
Dress is the most restrained design in the group: a black dial, applied metal markers, polished hands, and a black horsehide strap. Merci says its track and styling draw inspiration from American watches of the 1960s.
Numerals
Numerals centers its design on typography. Calligraphic numerals sit against a two-tone dial with a cream center and a lighter outer section, paired with a black horse leather strap. The brand presents it as a tribute to Swiss typography.

Militare
Militare has the clearest field-watch cues: a brown dial, prominent 12, 3, 6, and 9 numerals, and vintage-tone luminous material. Merci describes it as a sober, functional tool-watch design inspired by Italian field watches of the 1960s.
Scientifique
Scientifique takes an instrument-inspired approach, combining an écru dial with luminous Old Radium-tone markers, Dauphine hands, and a black seconds hand. It comes on a black leather strap. Merci’s launch-era coverage described this model as limited; that 2025 report does not establish its current stock or continuing availability.

Shared case, movement, and warranty
Merci’s current product pages list the following specifications for the LMM-01 models:
- Case: 316L stainless steel, 38 mm in diameter and 9.55 mm thick including the crystal.
- Fit: 19 mm lug width and 47.30 mm lug-to-lug measurement.
- Crystal and water resistance: sapphire crystal and 10 ATM water resistance.
- Movement: hand-wound Sellita SW210-1-b with a stated 42-hour power reserve.
- Other: two-year warranty and exchangeable strap.
Merci says the watches are manufactured and assembled in Switzerland and carry the Swiss Made label. This is the brand’s description of its production and labeling.

Current prices versus launch prices
The current collection prices are higher than the launch prices reported when the quartet was introduced. Hodinkee’s June 3, 2025 launch report gave prices of €420 for Dress and Numerals and €390 for Militare and Scientifique. Those figures describe launch-era pricing, not the current listed prices or confirmation of present availability. The official Merci collection page showed €560 and €530 respectively on October 8, 2026.

Start with the dial treatment rather than assuming a difference in core specifications: all four models share the case dimensions and movement listed above. Dress is the understated black-dial option; Numerals emphasizes its calligraphic typography and two-tone layout; Militare foregrounds oversized numerals and vintage-tone lume; Scientifique pairs an écru dial with luminous markers and Dauphine hands. The included straps also vary by model, while the collection’s listed 19 mm lug width and exchangeable straps offer the option of a replacement—check the strap’s attachment and fit before buying.
