The current official listing covers the TQ2.202: a 38mm watch assembled in Germany with a Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz movement. Nezumi’s site describes three Tonnerre dial colorways and lists references TQ2.102 and TQ2.202, but does not establish which versions are currently available or when the relaunch began.
What is the Tonnerre chronograph?
Tonnerre means “thunder” in French. Nezumi positions the watch as a utility-oriented chronograph, and the telemeter scale gives it a purpose beyond measuring elapsed time. Fratello describes the returning model as a 1960s-inspired duo; that is useful design context, not a confirmed launch date. Nezumi calls the design Swedish-designed and says the watch is assembled in Germany.
The current product page identifies the TQ2.202. Nezumi describes it as “a 38mm brushed step case” powered by Seiko’s VK63 mecha-quartz movement. The specifications below come from Nezumi’s official product page and apply to that reference.

What does the telemeter scale do?
A telemeter estimates distance to an event that can be both seen and heard. Start the chronograph when you see the event, such as a flash, then stop it when you hear its sound. Read the telemeter scale for an approximate distance. It is a practical way to use the Tonnerre’s chronograph, but the result is an estimate rather than a precision measurement.

A tachymeter serves a different purpose: it uses elapsed time over a known distance to calculate speed. The Tonnerre’s telemeter is for estimating distance to a visible or audible event, not speed.
How does the VK63 mecha-quartz movement behave?
The VK63 is not a fully mechanical watch movement. Nezumi describes it as a hybrid: the watch uses quartz timekeeping, while a mechanical module runs the chronograph. According to the brand, that chronograph module gives the seconds hand a sweeping motion, mechanical-feeling pushers and an instant snap-back when reset. Those characteristics apply to the chronograph function; they do not make the whole watch mechanical.

Nezumi’s instruction manual identifies the caliber as Seiko Cal. VK63 and specifies an SR936SW battery.
Which Tonnerre version is listed?
Nezumi’s official pages describe three dial colorways in the Tonnerre collection and list references TQ2.102 and TQ2.202. The detailed specifications above are for the TQ2.202; the listing does not establish that every colorway or reference is in stock. The 38mm diameter and 45.5mm lug-to-lug measurement give a more complete starting point for judging fit than diameter alone. Its 20mm lug width is also useful if you are considering a replacement strap, though compatibility depends on the strap and its hardware.
What does the water-resistance rating allow?
Nezumi says the 5 ATM / 50m / 164ft rating is suitable for ordinary exposure such as rain, handwashing and light splashes. The brand explicitly says the watch is not intended for swimming, showering, diving or submersion. It also advises against operating the pushers, crown or any rotating bezel while the watch is wet or submerged.

Price, stock, shipping and warranty
The official product page does not establish a relaunch date, current stock or a price that can be treated as fixed. Check the live listing for the current price and availability before ordering. Nezumi’s product page, as viewed in 2026, states a two-year warranty and worldwide FedEx Priority shipping with insurance and tracking. Its typical delivery estimate is 3–5 business days, depending on destination and customs handling.
Nezumi says EU prices include local VAT. It warns that US orders may incur import duties or tariffs, estimating these as typically around 15% of the watch’s value; that is not a guaranteed customs rate.
