Nezumi’s updated Baleine BA4.102 keeps the Miyota 9039 automatic movement and 200 m water-resistance rating while giving the diver a slimmer case, ceramic bezel insert and more layered dial. Nezumi lists a 40 mm diameter, 12.1 mm thickness and 47 mm lug-to-lug; Fratello reported launch prices of €630 on rubber and €695 on bracelet, excluding taxes. Those are November 2025 launch figures, not confirmed current checkout prices.
What changed on the updated Nezumi Baleine?
Fratello’s November 17, 2025 launch coverage describes the BA4.102 as a brushed stainless-steel redesign. Its bezel measures 39 mm within the 40 mm case, and the case profile is 12.1 mm thick while retaining a 47 mm lug-to-lug span. The redesigned watch also uses a ceramic bezel insert, double-domed sapphire crystal and a textured, layered dial. Applied brushed numerals and indices carry Grade X1 Super-LumiNova, and the hands have been redesigned.
These are design changes reported by Fratello; the dimensions and component specifications are also listed on Nezumi’s BA4 press page. The narrower bezel dimension is not the case diameter: the watch itself measures 40 mm across.
What stayed the same?
The updated Baleine retains the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, according to Fratello’s launch report. Nezumi specifies the same movement on its BA4 press page, along with a 28,800-vibrations-per-hour rate and power reserve of up to 42 hours. It is a no-date movement, so the dial has no date window.

Nezumi also states a 20 ATM / 200 m water-resistance rating. That is the manufacturer’s published specification, not evidence of independent testing or dive-watch certification. The rating alone does not establish that an individual watch is ready for a particular dive; follow the manufacturer’s care and use guidance and have seals checked as appropriate.

How does the BA4.102 compare with its predecessor?
Fratello characterizes the update as a redesign rather than a change to the watch’s movement. The most useful points of comparison are its slimmer stated profile, ceramic bezel insert, double-domed sapphire crystal, layered dial with applied markers and updated hands. The Miyota 9039 remains the movement. These details describe the published design and specifications; they do not establish changes in accuracy, durability or real-world performance.
How much did the updated Baleine cost at launch?
Fratello reported November 2025 launch prices of €630 for the rubber-strap configuration and €695 for the bracelet configuration, with taxes excluded. The difference between those reported launch prices was €65. They are dated launch figures, not verified prices for October 2026; current price, tax treatment, stock and configuration availability should be checked with Nezumi before purchase.
