No Ohio NAWCC watch and clock show is verified for May 18, 2026, and no upcoming Ohio NAWCC event in the sources reviewed is dated after today, October 9, 2026. The May 18 date in the search phrase matches a National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) Chapter 47 meeting held on May 18, 2025. That is a chapter meeting with a mart and educational presentations, not a separately named Ohio-wide show. This article explains what that event involved, which 2026 Ohio listings exist, and how to confirm the next event before you travel.
What the May 18 date refers to
The closest match is a Chapter 47 notice titled “Next meeting is May 18, 2025” on the chapter’s website (nawcc47.com/?p=1361). The year matters: that meeting has already taken place. Readers searching for “May 18th” should treat the notice as a record of a past meeting rather than an announcement.
The notice describes the day’s schedule as follows:
- 9:00 a.m.: doors open for setup and the mart.
- 10:00 a.m.: a clock movement assembly demonstration during the mart.
- 11:00 a.m.: an educational talk titled “Isaac Rogers Turkish Dial Lantern Clock Restoration.”
The notice asked attendees to bring items for the mart, including antiques, early clocks, watches, parts, modern watches, watch bands, horological books, and unusual horological items. These are suggested categories. The notice does not confirm what was actually offered for sale on the day.
