Those are launch-era figures, not a verified current retail or resale price. Omega’s current product page lists the watch’s specifications but does not establish what it costs today.
What did the Omega CK 859 cost at launch?
Launch coverage did not give one uncontested price. Monochrome reported €6,800 including taxes in 2022 (Monochrome Watches). Time and Watches reported $6,500 and €6,900 in its March 28, 2022 article (Time and Watches). These are source- and market-specific launch prices; the currencies should not be treated as a precise conversion of one another.
A current official retail price, current availability, and resale value were not established. The two 2022 reports should not be used as today’s price or as evidence of current market value.
What is the CK 859 Re-Edition?
The CK 859 is a manual-winding Omega with a silver sector-style dial and small seconds. Omega says the vintage-style design is inspired by a 1939 wristwatch that used the 30-T2 manual-winding small-seconds calibre. The re-edition uses modern calibre 8926 instead. How the movement and winding work
Calibre 8926 is hand-wound, so the wearer winds the watch rather than relying on wrist movement to replenish its reserve. Omega specifies a 72-hour power reserve. The movement retains the small-seconds display associated with the 1939 inspiration, while adding the Co-Axial escapement and Master Chronometer designation. Omega lists magnetic resistance at 1.5 tesla / 15,000 gauss.

Omega’s caseback description includes the words “NUMBERED EDITION,” alongside “CO-AXIAL MASTER CHRONOMETER” and “CK 859.” Monochrome described it as a numbered edition and said it was not limited. Individual numbering therefore does not establish a fixed production cap.
