The hands-on review whose title matches this article tested a different, blue-dial reference, so its design impressions should not be mistaken for a direct review of the silver-dial watch.
Which Constellation 39 mm is this?
The title-matching silver-dial model is OMEGA reference 131.53.39.20.02.001. It has a full Sedna gold case and clasp, silver dial and brown leather strap. Robert-Jan Broer’s March 30, 2020 Fratello hands-on article tested the related blue-dial 131.53.39.20.03.001, not the 02.001. That distinction matters: the review can inform expectations about the collection’s case design, but it is not a first-hand assessment of the silver dial or its exact strap configuration.
OMEGA’s Hong Kong product page for reference 131.53.39.20.02.001 identifies its specifications and says it is no longer available in that market. This regional status does not establish whether it has been discontinued globally or whether it is in stock elsewhere.

What did the hands-on review find?
In the Fratello review, Broer writes that the updated case lines looked sharper and more mature than those of earlier models, and that polished facets and applied markers strengthened the design. He also flags the case thickness as a concern. These are the reviewer’s judgments about the blue-dial 03.001 he handled, rather than measurements or direct observations of the silver-dial reference.
Broer described Sedna gold as having a softer tone than yellow gold; that is a visual impression, not a measured color comparison. His overall assessment was: “The new Constellation 39mm Gents’ collection looks more mature, compared to its predecessors.”

How should the dimensions inform fit?
The 39 mm diameter gives a useful first reference, but it is not the whole fit story. OMEGA lists a 41 mm lug-to-lug measurement and a 12.43 mm thickness for this reference; those figures help frame how much wrist space the case spans and how tall it sits. The approximately 132 g total weight and precious-metal case are also relevant to expectations on the wrist. Fit remains individual, and the product listing does not provide a wrist-size recommendation.
The brown strap and gold folding clasp make this configuration materially different from a steel-and-gold bracelet model. Do not apply another variant’s weight or dimensions to the full-gold leather-strap reference.
