- Choose the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Glassbox CBS2210 if you want a 39 mm case, automatic winding, an 80-hour stated power reserve, and a 100 m stated water-resistance rating. TAG lists those specifications for its CBS2210 variants.
Neither is an objectively better chronograph for every wearer. The practical choice depends on case presence, winding preference, strap configuration, and which specifications matter most to you.

Confirm the exact reference before comparing
“Reverse Panda” can cause confusion in OMEGA listings. The reverse-panda steel Moonwatch is reference 310.30.42.50.01.004. Reference 310.30.42.50.01.002 is a different 42 mm steel Moonwatch with a black dial, not the reverse-panda variant. OMEGA’s detailed .002 specifications are useful context for the family, but they should not be represented as verified .004 specifications.
TAG’s CBS2210 family also has suffixes that identify different strap presentations: CBS2210.FC6534 is the leather-strap version, and CBS2210.BA0048 is the steel-bracelet version. Check the complete reference on the product page or listing before ordering.

OMEGA figures in this table that are drawn from .002 do not establish the same measurements for .004. TAG’s product specifications are manufacturer claims, not independent comparative test results.
Size and wearing considerations
The TAG is 3 mm smaller in nominal diameter than the documented 42 mm OMEGA .002, making it the more compact option by that single measure. Diameter alone does not determine fit: wrist shape, lug span, case profile, and how the watch sits all matter. OMEGA lists a 47.50 mm lug-to-lug for .002; TAG gives a 20.7 mm lug distance between the lugs, which cannot be treated as its lug-to-lug length.

On paper, .002 is thinner than the TAG: 13.18 mm versus 13.9 mm. These are figures for different references and should guide questions to check in person, not be treated as a complete prediction of comfort. OMEGA: manual-winding Calibre 3861 on .002
OMEGA’s .002 documentation specifies a manually wound Calibre 3861. That means winding is part of the routine of wearing the watch. The cited specifications establish the movement and its stated reserve, but the available detailed data here are for .002 rather than the reverse-panda .004.

TAG Heuer: automatic Calibre TH20-00
TAG lists an automatic in-house TH20-00 for CBS2210, with a column wheel and vertical clutch. Its stated power reserve is 80 hours. This winding system and reserve may suit someone who would rather not wind a chronograph manually as part of regular wear.
Power reserve and water resistance
TAG’s CBS2210 listing states an 80-hour reserve and 100 m water resistance. OMEGA’s 2025 product sheet states 50 hours and 5 bar (50 m) for the black-dial .002, not the reverse-panda .004. On the figures that can be verified for those exact references, TAG lists the longer reserve and higher water-resistance rating; confirm the .004 product sheet before applying OMEGA family figures to it.

A water-resistance rating is not a substitute for use-specific guidance. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the exact reference and have seals maintained as recommended, particularly before exposing a mechanical chronograph to water.

Dial layout, crystal, and functions
OMEGA presents .004 as the Moonwatch with an inverted black-and-white reverse-panda dial. Its separate .002 product page describes a black step dial and a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inside. Do not assume that every detail on the .002 sheet is confirmed for .004.

Leather or bracelet on the TAG?
The TAG reference suffix matters as much as the family name. CBS2210.FC6534 is the leather-strap presentation; CBS2210.BA0048 is the bracelet presentation. The difference affects appearance and feel, and the displayed prices available for these two configurations are from different countries and markets, so they are not a like-for-like price comparison.
Price and availability depend on market and variant
When accessed in 2026, TAG Heuer’s US page for CBS2210.FC6534 displayed $7,250 and marked it out of stock online. Its UK page for the bracelet reference CBS2210.BA0048 displayed £6,400. These are region-specific, time-sensitive manufacturer listings for different variants; they should not be compared as a direct cross-brand price ranking.
