The 2026 Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Edition (ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004) is chiefly a more characterful take on the current Diver 300M, not a different movement proposition. It pairs a steel case with a grade 5 titanium bezel ring, blue wave-pattern aluminium dial and Bond-themed caseback and rotor. The 2024-generation standard model shares the 42 mm format and calibre 8806, but offers different dial, bezel and strap configurations. The older titanium No Time To Die 007 Edition is a separate watch, not another name for the 2026 model.
Which watches are being compared?
“Bond Edition” can refer to distinct Diver 300M watches. This comparison uses the 2026 James Bond Edition, ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004, against a specific 2024-generation standard reference, ref. 210.30.42.20.01.010. The standard collection has other configurations, so the named reference matters when comparing details.

How do the James Bond Edition and standard model differ?
| Feature | 2026 James Bond Edition 210.30.42.20.03.004 |
2024-generation standard example 210.30.42.20.01.010 |
|---|---|---|
| Case and size | 42 mm stainless steel | 42 mm collection; the cited launch materials describe multiple configurations |
| Bezel | Grade 5 titanium bezel ring | Varies by configuration: launch choices included a black aluminium bezel or grade 5 titanium bezel |
| Dial | Blue aluminium with laser-engraved wave pattern | Launch choices included black aluminium with wave pattern or brushed PVD stainless steel; confirm the exact reference’s configuration |
| Bracelet or strap | Presented on a brushed mesh bracelet | Mesh bracelet and rubber-strap configurations are available across the launch range; verify the specific reference |
| Movement | Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8806 | Calibre 8806 in the 2024 collection |
| Edition details | Gun-barrel decoration on the caseback and Bond emblem on the rotor | No Bond-edition decoration specified for this standard comparison |
Both sit on the current 42 mm Diver 300M platform and use calibre 8806, according to Omega’s launch materials. The clear documented differences are the Bond Edition’s particular materials, blue wave dial, mesh presentation and character-specific details—not a stated movement upgrade.

What makes the 2026 Bond Edition distinctive?
A specific mix of materials and colour
The Bond Edition combines a stainless-steel case with a grade 5 titanium bezel ring and blue aluminium dial. Its wave pattern is laser-engraved. Those choices give it a different visual identity from the black aluminium wave dial or brushed PVD steel dial options described for the 2024 standard range.
Bond details are concentrated on the watch’s reverse
The caseback has a gun-barrel decoration, while the rotor carries the Bond emblem. These are the edition-specific cues; the standard watch retains the broader Diver 300M design without those stated Bond details.

Mesh is part of the design, not a movement distinction
The 2026 watch is presented on a brushed mesh bracelet. Mesh is also an option in the 2024-generation standard range, which includes rubber-strap configurations too. Compare the exact reference and supplied configuration rather than assuming every standard Diver 300M has the same bracelet.

No Time To Die 007 Edition: ref. 210.90.42.20.01.001
Omega’s catalogue identifies the earlier No Time To Die watch as a 42 mm titanium 007 Edition with calibre 8806; regional product information specifies a titanium mesh bracelet. It is a separate, earlier model. Its titanium case should not be confused with the 2026 James Bond Edition’s stainless-steel case and titanium bezel ring.

Spectre: ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023
The 2026 collection also includes a steel Spectre edition with a black ceramic bezel ring, blackened grained dial, brushed mesh bracelet and calibre 8806. It shares the collection’s 42 mm case but has its own black treatment and franchise identity. It is relevant context for the plural “Bond editions,” but it is not the James Bond-branded blue model.
Which one should you choose?
Choose the James Bond Edition if its details are the point
The 2026 edition makes sense if you specifically want the blue wave-pattern dial, titanium bezel ring, brushed mesh bracelet and Bond-themed caseback and rotor. Its appeal is in that defined combination and its connection to the franchise.

- Model 210.90.42.20.01.001
Choose a standard Diver 300M if you want configuration choice
The standard range offers different dial and bezel treatments and, across its launch choices, mesh or rubber-strap configurations. If the Bond decoration is not important to you, compare the exact standard references for the colours and hardware you prefer; the shared calibre 8806 means the documented case for paying attention to the Bond edition is primarily aesthetic and edition-specific.

Consider the older 007 Edition only as its own model
The No Time To Die reference is the distinct choice for someone seeking that earlier titanium 007 Edition design. Its specifications and identity do not describe the 2026 James Bond Edition.

Omega’s cited materials give a nominal 42 mm diameter but do not establish comparative on-wrist comfort, measured weight across these references or an independent performance ranking. No current market price or regional inventory is established here either. Treat price and availability as location- and date-dependent, and check the exact reference and configuration with Omega or an authorised seller before purchase.
