The Omega James Bond 60th Anniversary watch and the 007 Edition are both Seamaster Diver 300M models. The 2015 Spectre Limited Edition is not: it is a Seamaster 300, a different family. That distinction is the key to comparing these Bond-linked watches.
How the Bond-linked Seamaster editions differ
OMEGA dates the Diver 300M’s debut to 1993 and associates its Bond story with GoldenEye (1995). The brand says the 60th-anniversary model’s dial recalls the watch associated with that film. The later commemorative pieces have separate identities and should not be treated as interchangeable versions of one watch.

What identifies the 60th Anniversary Diver 300M?
The most useful identifier is its full reference: 210.30.42.20.03.002. OMEGA’s Japan product page specifies a 42 mm steel Diver 300M with a blue aluminum wave dial. Its engraved wave pattern looks back to the Bond-associated Diver 300M from GoldenEye, while the bezel’s “60” at 12 o’clock marks the anniversary edition.

OMEGA places the watch within a lineage that began with the Diver 300M’s 1993 release. The brand links its Bond association to GoldenEye, released in 1995; the anniversary dial is a deliberate callback, rather than evidence that the anniversary watch itself appeared in that film. What makes the 007 Edition different?
The Diver 300M 007 Edition is a separate 42 mm model in Grade 2 titanium. OMEGA’s product listing describes its tropical-brown aluminum bezel ring and brown dial, with mesh-bracelet and NATO-strap variants. OMEGA says the edition launched in 2020 for No Time To Die; the date and film connection are reiterated in its February 19, 2025 press release.

Those details distinguish it from the steel anniversary model: titanium and brown design cues on the 007 Edition versus steel, a blue wave dial, and the commemorative bezel marking on the 60th Anniversary model. The strap options described for the 007 Edition do not establish fit for another reference; verify attachment dimensions and model compatibility before buying an aftermarket strap.
Is the Omega Spectre watch a Diver 300M?
No. Swatch Group’s 2015 archive announcement calls the Spectre commemorative watch a Seamaster 300. It is Bond-related, but it is not a Diver 300M. The similar Seamaster naming can make the family distinction easy to miss; use the model name, not the film association alone, when searching or comparing listings.

How later Diver 300M watches relate to the Bond editions
OMEGA says its 2024 Diver 300M range drew inspiration from the 007 Edition, including design cues such as domed sapphire crystal and mesh-bracelet styling. That influence does not make every later Diver 300M a film-branded or limited Bond edition. The 2024 announcement also describes 42 mm steel options, Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, and mesh-bracelet or rubber-strap configurations; those specifications belong to the announced range and its particular models, not automatically to every earlier Bond watch.
In May 2026, OMEGA announced a Bond-related Diver 300M chronograph for 007 FIRST LIGHT. It is a newer, distinct model, not another name for the historical 60th Anniversary, 007 Edition, or Spectre watch. See OMEGA’s May 21, 2026 announcement.

What to check when comparing or buying one
Start with the exact model and reference rather than a listing headline such as “Bond Seamaster.” Then compare the construction and edition details actually confirmed for that watch.
