The OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition from No Time to Die (ref. 210.90.42.20.01.001) and the James Bond 60th Anniversary model (ref. 210.30.42.20.03.002) share a 42 mm case size, calibre 8806, a 55-hour power reserve and a published 300 m water-resistance rating. The practical choice is mainly between the NTTD’s titanium-and-brown design and the anniversary watch’s steel-and-blue design, along with their different Bond references.

At a glance: the main differences

These are OMEGA’s published specifications, not independent comparative measurements. The listed weights describe the manufacturer’s stated configurations, not a controlled test; an alternate strap or bracelet setup can change what the watch weighs. How the NTTD and 60th Anniversary watches differ

NTTD 007 Edition: titanium and brown

The NTTD reference uses titanium for its case, bracelet and clasp, with a brown dial and vintage-inspired styling. OMEGA describes the 007 Edition as a design collaboration with Daniel Craig and the No Time to Die film team. The titanium construction gives it the lower listed weight of the two in the configurations cited above. OMEGA’s 007 Edition family information also describes a striped NATO option alongside the titanium mesh bracelet. Confirm the precise configuration when shopping: the weight and fit can differ between strap and bracelet versions.

60th Anniversary: steel, blue and GoldenEye cues

The 60th Anniversary reference pairs a stainless-steel case and bracelet with a blue dial whose wave pattern is laser engraved. Its Bond details include a “60” bezel marking and an animated Bond-gun-barrel image on the caseback. OMEGA frames the design around the franchise anniversary, with visual inspiration from the GoldenEye era. Its steel mesh-style bracelet gives this model a distinct look and feel from the NTTD titanium mesh design.

What they share mechanically

Both are 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M models powered by OMEGA calibre 8806, with a stated 55-hour power reserve and a published rating of 30 bar (300 m / 1,000 ft). Those shared specifications mean the Bond story, material, profile and dial are more useful differentiators than the basic movement or water-resistance figures.

The NTTD is 12.99 mm thick and 49.60 mm lug to lug; the 60th Anniversary watch is 14.26 mm thick and 49.93 mm lug to lug. The dimensions are close in diameter and length, but the NTTD is thinner on OMEGA’s specification sheet. Actual wrist fit also depends on wrist shape, bracelet adjustment and personal preference, so dimensions alone cannot establish which one will feel better on a particular wearer.

Which one should you choose?

  • Choose the NTTD 007 Edition if titanium, the brown palette, the lower manufacturer-listed weight in the cited configuration, or the No Time to Die connection is what you want.
  • Choose the 60th Anniversary if you prefer stainless steel and blue, or value its anniversary styling, “60” bezel detail and animated Bond caseback.
  • Compare the exact bracelet or strap configuration if weight, appearance or replacement-strap plans matter. OMEGA’s NTTD family information lists titanium mesh and striped NATO options. Its product sheet gives 20 mm between the lugs; check compatibility with the exact model and clasp before buying a replacement strap.

There is no basis in these specifications for declaring a universal winner, greater comfort, stronger investment performance or better value. Before buying, check the current price, stock, warranty terms and seller authorization for your country; those details vary by market and are not established by the specifications above. OMEGA’s November 2024 announcement about a later Diver 300M update describes design inspiration from the 007 Edition, but that update is not either of the two references compared here: OMEGA’s November 2024 release.
