Omega’s April 2024 Speedmaster 38 additions comprised eight watches: two in 18K Sedna Gold, two in 18K Moonshine Gold and four in stainless steel. Which 2024 Speedmaster 38 models came in full gold and steel?
The eight additions were arranged by case material and configuration. The gold watches came in two gold alloys, while the four steel versions offered brown or green dials and a choice of bracelet or leather strap.

All eight retain the Speedmaster 38’s oval chronograph-counter design and date window. The 2024 launch report also describes diamond bezels with diamonds three times larger than those on earlier diamond-bezel models. What movement and specifications did the 2024 watches use?
The date-equipped 2024 models use Omega Calibre 3330, a self-winding chronograph. The 2024 launch report specifies a 4 Hz operating frequency, a 52-hour power reserve, a column wheel, a Co-Axial escapement and a silicon balance spring. It also describes the movement as COSC-certified as a chronometer.

The reported case diameter is 38 mm. Water resistance is 100 m, consistent with the collection description in the later refresh report. The 2024 report supplies the movement details; the 2026 collection report describes the refreshed range’s case and water-resistance specifications.
How does the 2024 release differ from the 2026 Speedmaster 38 refresh?
The title refers to the 2024 additions. Omega’s 2026 refresh is a later, separate update with a different mix of materials, dials and references; its models should not be confused with the 2024 full-gold and steel configurations.

The 2024 launch report says the additions became available on April 24, 2024. It also reports weights of 211 g for the Sedna Gold full-bracelet model and 214 g for the Moonshine Gold full-bracelet model; the corresponding strap models are reported at 127 g and 129 g. For context, the 2026 report lists euro prices of €6,400 for its black no-date model, €6,600 and €7,000 for two steel date models, €11,500 for each of two two-tone options, and €12,100 and €12,900 for diamond-bezel variants. - Confirm the generation first. The 2024 full-gold and steel additions and the 2026 refresh have different configurations and reference numbers.
- Compare material and finish. The 2024 options are stainless steel, 18K Sedna Gold or 18K Moonshine Gold. The 2026 report also covers steel-and-gold models.
- Choose bracelet or strap. The 2024 gold models pair leather with a matching gold folding clasp or use a full-gold bracelet; steel models offer a bracelet or leather strap.
