OMEGA’s 2021 ladies’ Seamaster Aqua Terra release paired a 34 mm case with pink wave-pattern dials and a choice of diamond or marquise-cut ruby indexes. The standout two-tone version described at launch added a diamond-set Sedna Gold bezel and a rosé champagne alligator strap. Fratello reported a €15,700 (CHF 15,700) retail price in March 2021; that is a historical launch figure, not a current price or valuation.
What distinguished the 2021 Aqua Terra
Fratello’s March 23, 2021 launch coverage focused on a 34 mm ladies’ Seamaster Aqua Terra with a pink dial patterned in waves. It described a date window at 6 o’clock and two distinct index treatments across the planned collection: diamond-paved marquise indexes or marquise-cut red rubies. The ruby-index models used a more intense shade of pink, so they should not be treated as the same dial configuration as the diamond-index versions. Fratello’s 2021 article is the source for these launch details.
The diamond-set two-tone example
The highlighted two-tone configuration combined the pink wave-pattern dial and 11 marquise-cut diamond indexes with a Sedna Gold bezel set with 46 brilliant-cut diamonds. Fratello described it on a rosé champagne alligator strap. The article’s observation that the dial looked especially striking in natural light is a visual impression from its author, not a measured performance claim.
Eight planned versions, not one specification
Fratello reported that OMEGA planned eight models for 2021: four with diamond indexes and four with ruby indexes. Its coverage does not provide exact reference numbers for all eight, so the launch description alone is not enough to identify every variant or establish that every model shared the highlighted two-tone case and strap arrangement. For a listing, check the exact reference, dial, bezel, and strap or bracelet details.

Movement and reported performance
Fratello reported a self-winding OMEGA calibre 8800 with hour, minute, and seconds hands plus a date display. The same 2021 article states a magnetic resistance of at least 15,000 gauss and a 55-hour power reserve. These are launch-era figures attributed to that coverage; verify the documentation for the exact reference before applying them to a particular watch.
What it cost at launch
Fratello listed the watch at €15,700 (CHF 15,700) in its March 2021 article. This is a reported historical retail price, not a current OMEGA price, a resale estimate, or a verified quote for each of the eight variants. The available launch coverage does not establish current availability or pricing.

How it fits among later Aqua Terra releases
Later Aqua Terra collections add useful context, but they are separate releases rather than alternate names for the 2021 pink 34 mm models.
| Release | What the source identifies | How it differs from the 2021 models |
|---|---|---|
| 2021 ladies’ Seamaster Aqua Terra | 34 mm pink wave-pattern designs, with diamond-index and ruby-index versions; Fratello reported calibre 8800. | The release discussed here. |
| 2023 Aqua Terra Shades | OMEGA described color-focused models in 34 mm and 38 mm stainless-steel cases with Co-Axial Master Chronometer movements. OMEGA’s 2023 announcement. | A later collection with its own designs and specifications; the announcement does not identify it as the 2021 diamond- and ruby-index release. |
| 2025 30 mm Aqua Terra | OMEGA introduced 12 references in a new 30 mm size. The announcement identifies calibre 8750 for steel and two-tone versions and calibre 8751 for Sedna and Moonshine Gold versions. OMEGA’s June 2025 announcement. | A distinct size and release, not the 2021 34 mm model. |
OMEGA’s November 2025 gift guide, for example, names a pine-green steel-and-Sedna-Gold 30 mm watch (reference 220.20.30.20.10.002) and a sandstone-dial steel 30 mm watch (reference 220.10.30.20.09.001). Those later references are not the pink 34 mm configuration described above. See OMEGA’s 2025 gift guide.

What to check before buying
- Match the reference number to the intended version; the launch reporting does not list references for all eight models.
- Confirm whether the indexes are diamonds or rubies and check the dial shade, since Fratello reported a more intense pink for the ruby versions.
- Verify the case and bezel materials and whether the watch is on the described alligator strap or a different configuration.
- For movement claims or service questions, use documentation for the exact reference rather than assuming every 2021 variant has identical specifications.
- Confirm whether a listing is new or pre-owned and check its condition, included documentation, and current asking price directly with the seller.
