Omega currently marks this exact reference as no longer available; that status does not establish whether a retailer or pre-owned seller has one in stock.
What is the 40 mm De Ville Trésor?
This reference is a dress-oriented steel Trésor with a blue patterned dial, a date window at 6 o’clock and a blue leather strap. Omega specifies alligator leather on the strap’s surface and calf leather underneath, secured by a stainless-steel pin buckle. A transparent caseback shows the movement, while the sapphire crystal has anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
Omega lists a time-zone function and an anti-magnetic feature alongside the date display. The model is reference 435.13.40.21.03.001. Its official [OMEGA product page](https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-de-ville-tresor- co-axial-master-chronometer-40-mm-43513402103001) contains the specification and availability status for this exact version.
Case size, thickness and fit
Omega’s published dimensions are 40 mm in diameter, 44.80 mm lug-to-lug and 10.05 mm thick. The distance between the lugs is 20 mm, and Omega gives the total product weight as approximately 59 g. These figures describe the specified watch; wrist fit also depends on wrist shape and strap adjustment.
- Case: stainless steel
- Dial: blue, patterned
- Crystal: scratch-resistant sapphire, anti-reflective on both sides
- Strap: blue alligator leather on the surface, calf leather underneath
- Buckle: stainless-steel pin buckle
The 20 mm lug spacing can help when searching for a replacement strap, but it does not by itself confirm that a particular strap’s ends or buckle will fit. Check the strap’s dimensions and hardware before ordering.
How the hand-wound caliber 8910 works
Caliber 8910 is a manual-winding Co-Axial movement. Omega identifies it as Master Chronometer certified and approved by METAS, and states resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The published power reserve is 72 hours, and its frequency is 3.5 Hz. These are Omega’s specifications; they are not an independent test result.
Because it is hand-wound, the watch must be wound by its wearer rather than relying on wrist motion to keep the mainspring charged. The 72-hour reserve means Omega states it can run for up to that period after winding, subject to use and operating conditions. Omega describes the movement as a “Manual-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement.”
What does its 30 m water-resistance rating mean?
Omega rates the watch at 3 bar, equivalent on its specification page to 30 metres or 100 feet. That is the published rating, not a recommendation to swim or dive with the watch. The available specification does not establish suitability for those activities.

Availability and historical launch price
Omega’s product page labels reference 435.13.40.21.03.001 as no longer available. That describes its status with Omega, not all retailer or second-hand inventory; check the exact reference and the seller’s current stock if searching for one.
Fratello reported a steel-model starting price of €6,200 including VAT in its 2019 launch coverage. That is historical launch pricing, not a current retail or resale quote. The same article reported €14,300 for the gold reference 435.53.40.21.09.001 and €16,900 for a 125th anniversary edition; those, too, are publication-era figures rather than current prices. Fratello also characterized the Trésor as a dress watch and contrasted its positioning with the Globemaster as a more versatile everyday or only-watch choice—an editorial assessment, not a comparative wear test. Since the official page says the reference is no longer available, any live offer should be checked on its own merits. Confirm that the listing identifies the blue-dial steel reference 435.13.40.21.03.001, then verify its condition, included components, seller, price and return terms. A seller’s stock and the watch’s condition cannot be inferred from Omega’s product page or historical launch coverage.
