The practical distinction is simple: two 42 mm steel watches are available individually, while the two numbered editions are sold only as sets containing a steel watch and a platinum-gold watch. OMEGA CEO Raynald Aeschlimann called it the first collection to bring Bond and Spectre together.
What OMEGA announced
The collection comprises three Bond designs and three Spectre designs, built around a shared 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M case family and Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. OMEGA announced the collection on October 5, 2026, and says it became available that day through its boutiques and online. OMEGA’s launch announcement describes the models and their presentation.
The launch is a product release, not a documented public party. Separately, Who What Wear reported that OMEGA’s Glendale boutique at The Americana at Brand hosted a five-week public exhibition through November 8, 2026. The exhibition included more than 20 props from seven Bond films and watches worn in Skyfall and Casino Royale, which normally reside at the OMEGA Museum. Who What Wear’s launch coverage provides that event context.
How the Bond and Spectre watches differ
The two individually available steel models share the case size, movement and brushed mesh bracelet, but use distinct bezel and dial treatments. Their references also make them easier to distinguish when shopping.

- Model 212.30.44.52.01.001
- The Bond set uses blue details and 007 strap keepers.
- The Spectre set’s accessories carry the Spectre emblem and include a black travel pouch.
The sets are numbered to 77 each, and neither constituent watch is offered separately as part of these editions. The number refers to sets, not a separately available run of 77 watches of each material.

In OMEGA’s official release, President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann said: “We are extremely proud of this collection. OMEGA has been the watch of James Bond for more than thirty years, and this is the first time we have brought James Bond and Spectre together in a collection. Both belong to the same story, and our customers have always known both sides of it. Now they can wear both”

The franchise connection dates to GoldenEye in 1995, according to OMEGA’s Bond history. This collection gives that long-running association a direct counterpart: Spectre, represented through its own dial, rotor and accessory details.
