In May 2024, OnePlus Watch 2 firmware A.94 (OPWWE231_11_A.94) added two apps—Relax for guided breathing and Barometer for atmospheric pressure—along with changes to workouts, music controls, Power Saver phone features, and watch settings. It was a feature update; available reporting does not establish that it upgraded the watch’s operating system.
What the A.94 update adds
Relax and Barometer
Relax guides breathing exercises. Barometer reports atmospheric pressure; 9to5Google also described an estimated-elevation reading. These functions are for general use, not medical diagnosis or precision navigation. The two apps were among the additions reported by Android Authority and 9to5Google on May 13, 2024.
Workout and music controls
The reported changelog says workout data display and workout and health algorithms were optimized. It also adds a swipe gesture for opening Music Controller during a workout. Android Authority separately reported seeing workout screens with five fat-burning zones instead of three; that observation should not be treated as a confirmed change on every device or build.
Phone features and watch settings
In Power Saver mode, the Phone app gained expanded functions, including access to contacts, favorites, and call logs. The update also added an option to turn off Tap to Wake, improved the watch-face removal experience, and included fixes for unspecified known issues.

Android Authority also observed a battery tile after updating. The publication could not confidently attribute additional watch faces visible in OHealth to the watch firmware rather than an OHealth app update, so those faces are not established A.94 additions.
How to get Relax and Barometer
The apps were reported as part of firmware A.94, so their availability depends on the watch receiving that update. The reports do not provide a complete regional schedule or establish that A.94 remains available to install on every watch today.
To check, open the watch’s Settings and look for its system update option. Menu labels and placement may vary by software version. If no update is offered, the May 2024 reports do not establish a way to force delivery or indicate when it will reach a particular device.

Where A.94 was reported
On May 13, 2024, 9to5Google reported OPWWE231_11_A.94 appearing in the US, India, and parts of Europe. That was a contemporaneous report of a phased rollout, not a complete list of supported regions or proof of current availability. The version identifier is useful for recognizing the update, but the available sources do not establish the latest Watch 2 firmware as of October 2026.

The OnePlus Watch 2 runs Wear OS and uses a dual-chip design: OnePlus says the Snapdragon W5 handles performance tasks while the BES 2700 handles efficiency tasks. Its official product page lists Google apps, health tracking, dual-frequency GPS, and 32 GB of storage. OnePlus also advertises up to 100 hours in Smart Mode and up to 12 days in Power Saver mode; those are manufacturer claims, not independent test results. OnePlus announced the watch in India, Europe, and North America in February 2024. At launch, John Renaldi, then Senior Director of Product and Design for Wear OS by Google, said: “We’ve made significant updates to Wear OS’s hybrid interface to support new capabilities that run on OnePlus’s innovative Dual-Engine Architecture.” That statement describes the platform work behind the watch, not the A.94 firmware update. The launch context appears in OnePlus India’s February 26, 2024 release.
