What makes the RE-BX0010A meteorite dial different?
RE-BX0010A is the family’s actual meteorite-dial version. Orient Star describes the dial as iron meteorite and says it is the first meteorite dial in its collection. The brand explains that the material, composed primarily of iron and nickel, develops a crystalline geometric lattice called the Widmanstätten pattern; each dial has its own pattern. Do not confuse the meteorite surface with the meteor-shower-inspired designs on other references. The RE-BX0006E green dial uses optical multilayer technology and a stamped pattern; the 2024 blue dial was also described as using optical multilayer technology. Those are patterned finishes, not meteorite.
What are the movement and core specifications?
F8N64 movement
Orient Star identifies the F8N64 as an in-house automatic mechanical movement with hand winding and a silicon escape wheel. The manufacturer publishes a power reserve of more than 60 hours and an accuracy range of +15 to −5 seconds per day. These are stated specifications, not independent timing-test results. Case and wear dimensions
For RE-BX0006E, Orient Star lists a 40.0 mm width, 47.3 mm height, 12.9 mm thickness, SUS316L steel case and bracelet, and 20 mm strap width. Its front crystal is dual-curve sapphire with SAR coating; the stated water resistance is 10 bar (100 m). The page lists 156 g and JIS Type 1 magnetic resistance (4,800 A/m or higher). The 2026 release gives RE-BX0010A the same listed case dimensions, a 20 mm steel bracelet, and 10 bar water resistance. Do not assume every detail listed for RE-BX0006E—including its weight, crystal treatment, or magnetic-resistance figure—has been specified for every reference.

How should you choose between the references?
- Choose by dial material first. RE-BX0010A is the meteorite option; the green, black, blue, and other patterned versions are distinct dial executions.
- Check the exact reference and edition. The 255-piece count belongs to RE-BX0010A; the 160-piece count belongs to the white 2024 launch edition.
- Compare fit using the exact listing. The stated 40.0 × 47.3 × 12.9 mm dimensions are documented for RE-BX0006E and RE-BX0010A. A 20 mm strap width is specified for those references, but that alone does not establish compatibility with any particular aftermarket strap, end links, or clasp.
