The main choices are dial and size, whether the watch uses Oris Calibre 403 or a Swiss Made automatic, and whether it is presented on a strap or the new H-link bracelet. On Oris’s US collection page, observed September 28, 2026, listed prices are $2,300 for the 34 mm Big Crown, $3,300 for the 34 mm Big Crown Diamonds and $2,400 for the new 40 mm standard Pointer Date; check the regional product page for current pricing.
What are the new Oris Big Crown Pointer Date models for 2025?
Oris’s launch article describes the 2025 return as a collection of 11 references, with seven dial colours, two case sizes and a new metal bracelet. The standard Pointer Date models come in 40 mm, while the smaller range includes the 34 mm Big Crown and the diamond-set 34 mm Big Crown Diamonds. The name “Big Crown Diamonds” applies to the diamond-set model, not to every 34 mm version.
The collection’s 40 mm palette comprises terracotta, green, yellow, lilac and blue. The 34 mm choices are textured beige or black; the black version has 12 lab-grown baguette diamond indices, according to Oris’s 2025 booklet. Oris lists the collection and launch details in its 2025 launch article and 2025 image booklet.
What size is the 2025 Oris Big Crown Pointer Date?
There are two case diameters: 34.00 mm and 40.00 mm. The 40 mm cases cover the five-colour Pointer Date palette; the two 34 mm dial options are textured beige and black with diamond indices. Diameter is a useful first way to narrow the range, but it does not establish how a watch will fit a particular wrist. Oris’s published materials provide the case sizes, not comparative wrist-fit measurements.

Which 2025 Big Crown Pointer Date has Calibre 403?
Among the 40 mm models, the terracotta and green versions use Oris Calibre 403. Oris describes it as a five-day automatic movement. The yellow, lilac and blue 40 mm versions, along with the 34 mm models, use a Swiss Made automatic; Oris’s booklet does not identify those as Calibre 403 versions.
For the Calibre 403 watch, Oris specifies 5 bar water resistance. The brand also says its Calibre 400-series movements contain more than 30 anti-magnetic parts and exceed the norms of ISO 764. These are Oris’s descriptions, not independent test results or evidence of a separate certification. Oris says MyOris registration activates a 10-year warranty for Calibre 400-series models; check the current terms and eligibility with Oris before relying on that coverage.

What does the new H-link bracelet offer, and what does it fit?
Oris introduced an H-link metal bracelet with brushed and polished links and a butterfly clasp developed by the brand. The 2025 booklet says it fits the new 40 mm models and is compatible with existing 38 mm Big Crown Pointer Date watches. That compatibility statement does not establish fit for every reference or for aftermarket bracelets.
If buying the bracelet separately or pairing it with an older watch, confirm the exact watch reference and genuine-part availability with Oris or an authorized seller before purchase. Oris’s published statement names new 40 mm models and existing 38 mm Big Crown Pointer Date models; it does not confirm broader compatibility.
How much do the 2025 models cost?
Oris’s US Big Crown collection page displayed the following prices on September 28, 2026. These are US-page observations, not worldwide prices or guaranteed future prices.

What is the Big Crown Pointer Date’s design history?
Oris traces the Big Crown Pointer Date to 1938 and says the original pilot-oriented design used a large crown that an airman could adjust while wearing gloves. In Oris’s account, large Arabic numerals, luminous hands and a red-tipped central pointer aligned with the date scale served legibility. Oris states in its 2025 image booklet: “The Big Crown Pointer Date has been a staple of the Oris collection since 1938.” This is the brand’s historical account.
