Count the separately announced turquoise-lacquer Daytona and the year’s additions total eight, not seven.
Which seven Daytona references were added?
The seven references refresh earlier Daytona designs with the current 1265xx-generation styling and calibre 4131. The table distinguishes the dial, gold, bracelet and bezel combinations, and gives only prices reported for the specific references. These are publication-reported figures from 2025, not a single universal price list.

Monochrome Watches reported the seven-reference additions on 7 April 2025, noting they were not included in Rolex’s official press communication or Watches and Wonders press appointments. The turquoise-lacquer model was announced separately; it is not an eighth reference in the seven-model group above.
Is the John Mayer Daytona back?
Yes. The nickname refers to the green-dial yellow-gold Daytona that became closely associated with musician John Mayer. The earlier reference, 116508, arrived in 2016 and was discontinued in 2023. Its 2025 successor is ref. 126508-0008: the familiar yellow-gold case and bracelet return with a lighter-looking green dial, gold-toned chronograph counters and the current-generation movement. Hodinkee reported a U.S. retail price of $48,400 in 2025; Monochrome Watches reported €48,400 in its 2025 pricing context. Those figures use different currencies and market contexts, not interchangeable price conversions.

“John Mayer 2.0” is a convenient nickname for the new reference, rather than the reference number itself. The exact reference to look for is 126508-0008.
What is different about the meteorite-dial Daytonas?
The three meteorite versions use the same dial material across yellow, white and Everose gold, each paired with an Oysterflex bracelet and black Cerachrom bezel. The dial’s distinctive geometric pattern is associated with Widmanstätten structures in Gibeon meteorite. Hodinkee gives the cited material composition as 91.8% iron and 7.7% nickel. The meteorite is cut into thin sections, polished and acid-etched to bring out contrasting bands.

The ceramic bezel gives the pale, irregular dial a dark frame, while the three gold choices change the overall tone of the watch. The Oysterflex is a flexible bracelet with internal metal blades and cushions, rather than an all-rubber strap.
Fratello Watches gives the meteorite models’ dimensions as 40 × 46 × 11.9 mm and describes slimmer hour markers, panda-style subdials and a metal frame around the bezel. Those details reflect the design refinements introduced with the 2023 Daytona update.

How do the seven models differ in wear and appearance?
- Green or blue on a full gold bracelet: refs. 126508-0008 and 126509-0005 pair colored sunray dials with matching precious-metal bezels and Oyster bracelets. The green ref. is the John Mayer successor; the blue ref. uses white gold and matching counters.
- Meteorite on Oysterflex: refs. 126518LN-0016, 126515LN-0008 and 126519LN-0007 share the black ceramic bezel and meteorite dial, with yellow, Everose or white gold respectively.
- Chocolate on Everose: ref. 126505-0005 has an Everose bracelet and matching bezel, while ref. 126515LN-0010 combines Everose with Oysterflex and a black ceramic bezel. Both use brown dials; the bracelet model has black chronograph counters.
The Oysterflex versions visually contrast a gold case with a black bezel and flexible bracelet. The full-bracelet references instead carry the precious metal across the wrist and use a matching metal bezel.
How much do the new Daytona models cost?
The available 2025 reports do not form one consistent, region-neutral Rolex price list. Monochrome Watches reported euro prices for four references and a U.S. dollar retail figure for the John Mayer model was reported by Hodinkee. For the meteorite watches, Fratello Watches reported €42,200 for yellow gold and €44,100 for white and Everose gold. Monochrome’s 2025 report lists different euro figures for those meteorite references—€42,200 for yellow gold and €44,100 for white and Everose gold are Fratello’s report, while its own listed figures are not specified for the meteorite references. Therefore the meteorite figures in the table are attributed to Fratello rather than treated as universal MSRP.
