What the Oris GMT Rega Limited Edition is
Oris places this watch in its ProPilot range and identifies it as the GMT Rega Limited Edition. Production is limited to 2,000 pieces, according to Oris’s product listing, accessed October 7, 2026. The listing describes a special box and certificate in the package.
The name refers to Rega, Switzerland’s air-rescue organization. In its May 2018 magazine, Rega explained the collaboration: “We have created this limited edition watch in recognition of the Swiss Air-Rescue Rega. The second time zone refers to its worldwide 24-hour readiness.” The statement is presented as a collaboration rationale, not attributed to an individual speaker. Oris specifies a 45 mm multi-piece stainless-steel case with grey PVD plating, a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside, and a screwed grey-PVD stainless-steel case back with special engravings. Water resistance is rated at 10 bar. The listed interhorn width—the strap fitting width—is 22 mm.

Dial and hands
The official listing describes the dial as black and gives the display as central hour, minute and 24-hour hands, subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock, and an enlarged instantaneous date window. It also lists date and 24-hour correctors and stop seconds. Monochrome Watches’ 2018 introduction describes the Rega logo at 3 o’clock, red accents on the GMT hand and GMT inscription, and large luminous indexes and hands; these are that publication’s design descriptions, rather than observations from a hands-on test.
