What is the Oris Roberto Clemente Limited Edition?
It is a special edition of Oris’s Big Crown Pointer Date honoring Roberto Clemente’s baseball career and humanitarian legacy. Oris says the Roberto Clemente Foundation continues his work. The watch keeps the collection’s pointer-date layout and adds a white dial with black and gold details inspired by Clemente’s uniform. Oris notes that the date 21 is highlighted in gold in reference to his uniform number.

What makes it different from the standard Big Crown Pointer Date?
The core format remains a Big Crown Pointer Date: a central hand points to the date around the dial’s perimeter rather than displaying it in a conventional date window. The edition’s distinguishing details are its white dial, black-and-gold accents, gold-highlighted 21, Clemente-themed caseback engravings and limited production of 3,000 pieces. The set also includes both a leather strap and a NATO strap, along with a changing tool.
Those are design and package distinctions; the available specifications do not establish a performance advantage over a standard Big Crown Pointer Date. For a model-to-model comparison, check the exact reference and compare the case, dial and date display, movement and power reserve, included accessories, and the condition and completeness of the particular watch being offered.

How much did it cost, and is it still available?
Monochrome reported launch pricing of EUR 1,800 or CHF 1,850 in its 2020 review. Those are historical launch prices, not a current retail quote. Oris’s product page currently states that the watch is not available online and suggests contacting or visiting a store. That does not establish whether a particular retailer or region has stock.
