What is the Panerai PAM01482?
PAM01482 is the steel version of Panerai’s Luminor Dieci Giorni GMT. The current Panerai product page specifies a polished AISI 316L steel case measuring 44 mm across, a blue sun-brushed dial and an automatic mechanical P.2003 calibre. The case has Panerai’s lever-operated crown-protection device and a sapphire-crystal back. Panerai’s PAM01482 product page labels the model “Boutique Exclusive.”
How do the GMT and dial displays work?
Panerai describes the GMT function as allowing the wearer to read local time and a second time zone on one watch. The dial’s 24-hour indicator at 9 o’clock provides the additional time-zone reading; the date sits at 3 o’clock, and small seconds are also shown at 9 o’clock. The arrangement puts several indications on the blue dial while retaining luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers for the main time display.
At 6 o’clock, a linear power-reserve display shows the remaining reserve. The GMT indication and reserve display are distinct functions: the former helps track another time zone, while the latter indicates how much running time remains before the watch needs winding or must be kept running by wear.

How long is the PAM01482 power reserve?
Panerai specifies a 10-day power reserve for the automatic P.2003 calibre. This is the manufacturer’s stated specification, not an independently measured result for every watch. The movement has three barrels, 25 jewels and 296 components; Panerai also lists a seconds-reset device and a frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour. The name “Dieci Giorni” refers to the ten-day reserve.
The long reserve is part of a broader Panerai design tradition, according to the brand. Panerai connects long-running movements with its historical practice and cites an early-1960s Angelus calibre with an eight-day reserve. That heritage account is Panerai’s own description, not an independently corroborated history in the product specification.

Is the Panerai PAM01482 water resistant?
Panerai rates the PAM01482 to 10 bar, approximately 100 metres. That is the manufacturer’s stated water-resistance rating; it does not establish a real-world test result or cover the condition of an individual watch. Follow Panerai’s guidance on water exposure and care for the specific watch.
What straps come with the PAM01482?
Panerai lists a dark blue alligator strap and an additional dark blue rubber strap, both in 24/22 sizing, with a brushed steel buckle. The brand’s international product information says a secondary strap is included and that the watch box accommodates the second strap and strap-changing tools where applicable. Confirm the contents for the regional configuration you are considering, and do not assume a third-party strap will fit without checking attachment and compatibility.
