Panerai’s 2024 US Navy SEALs capsule comprises four Submersible watches: PAM01518, PAM01513, PAM01669 and PAM01521. They share AOR1 desert-camouflage styling, grey-to-black dials, sand-colored lume, Navy SEALs branding and trident-engraved backs, but differ substantially in complications, case materials, size, water resistance and price. Reported US launch prices ranged from US$10,200 to US$34,200.
What is in the 2024 Panerai Navy SEALs capsule?
Panerai’s official collection description presents the watches as Submersible models developed around the Navy SEALs’ themes of challenge, bravery, teamwork and adrenaline. The four references were announced in 2024, with the launch covered by Time+Tide on 30 September 2024.
The collection uses the authentic AOR1 desert camouflage pattern as its visual starting point. Each watch has Navy SEALs identification on the dial and a case back engraved with the force’s trident symbol. Panerai also specifies anti-clockwise unidirectional dive bezels, sand-colored Super-LumiNova, automatic movements with three-day power reserves and two strap configurations: a camouflage textile-and-rubber strap and a black accordion-style rubber strap.
Water resistance varies by reference from 30 to 50 bar, approximately 300 to 500 metres, rather than being uniform across the capsule.

How the four watches differ
PAM01518: the straightforward steel Submersible
PAM01518 is the capsule’s simplest and least expensive reference. Its brushed 316L-steel 44 mm case keeps the design familiar to Submersible owners, while the P.900 movement provides a conventional time display with small seconds and a dive-time indication. It is the logical choice if the Navy SEALs design matters more to you than GMT, chronograph or exotic-case technology.

- The waterproof level of this watch has reached 10 ATM waterproof, which can work normally at a depth of 100 meters (330ft) underwater. It is not only suitable for wearing in water activities such as swimming, diving, snorkeling, surfing, rowing, water skiing, but also suitable for wearing in daily life and outdoor sports, such as jogging, hiking, climbing, cycling, etc.
- The built-in stopwatch and timer function of the watch can meet the precise timing needs of exercise and sports competitions.
- The dual time zone display function will make your trips more convenient; 12/24 hour format display can meet the time reading habits of different people.
- Support multiple useful functions, such as: alarm clock, hourly chime, calendar and back light.
- The watch battery is replaceable. If you find that the watch is not working or the text on the display is not clear, please replace the watch battery in time.
PAM01513: the travel and maximum-depth option
PAM01513 combines a 44 mm Carbotech case and bezel with a P.900/GMT movement. The GMT function tracks a second time zone, the date adds everyday practicality, and the 500-metre rating is the highest resistance offered by the two 44 mm watches. It suits buyers who want the most capable travel-oriented configuration in the capsule.
PAM01669: lightweight titanium at 47 mm
PAM01669 is built around a larger 47 mm brushed-titanium case and a Carbotech bezel. Its P.9010 movement supplies date and dive-time functions, while the 300-metre rating matches the steel PAM01518 rather than the deeper-rated Carbotech GMT. The appeal is the combination of Panerai’s large case presence and titanium construction, not an additional complication.

PAM01521: the scarce chronograph
PAM01521 is the collection’s technical and financial outlier. It uses a 47 mm black DLC titanium case, a ceramic bezel and the P.9100/R automatic movement. Its flyback chronograph and “Time to Target” display add functions absent from the other three watches, and its 500-metre rating matches PAM01513. Panerai announced production of only 80 pieces, with availability scheduled for October 2024.
PAM01518 technical details
Panerai’s technical page lists the PAM01518’s automatic P.900 calibre with 23 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour and a three-day power reserve. The watch has a 44 mm steel case, a brushed-steel unidirectional bezel, a black shaded dial and 300-metre water resistance.

- AOR1 camouflage: the desert pattern is used across the capsule’s straps and visual detailing.
- Grey-black dials: the shaded treatment gives the watches a darker tactical appearance than standard bright Submersible dials.
- Sand-colored lume: the Super-LumiNova color is coordinated with the desert-camouflage concept.
- Navy SEALs signatures: each dial carries Navy SEALs branding, while the case back features an engraved trident.
- Dive bezels: all four use anti-clockwise unidirectional bezels for elapsed dive-time tracking.
- Two-strap setup: the camouflage textile/rubber strap and black accordion rubber strap give each model a themed and a water-focused wearing option.
The 44 mm references will generally present a more compact footprint than the 47 mm titanium models. Within each size group, the choice is primarily between conventional steel, Carbotech, titanium or DLC-treated titanium, then between time-only, GMT/date and chronograph functionality.
Which Panerai Navy SEALs model should you choose?
- Choose PAM01518 if you want the lowest reported launch price, steel construction and the least complicated watch.
- Choose PAM01513 if a second-time-zone display, date and 500-metre resistance are priorities.
- Choose PAM01669 if you prefer a 47 mm presence and brushed titanium with a date display.
- Choose PAM01521 if the flyback chronograph, 500-metre rating and an officially limited 80-piece production run justify its premium.
Because the collection was launched in 2024, boutique stock, regional availability and pre-owned pricing can differ from the reported US launch figures. The 80-piece PAM01521 is the only reference in the capsule with a stated production limit.
