The launch story highlighted two watches said to be available in the boutique at that time: the Radiomir 1940 3 Days Acciaio PAM 736 and the Luminor 1950 Chrono Monopulsante 8 Days GMT Titanio PAM 737. That was a 2018 stock statement, not confirmation of current availability.
Where Panerai’s first Australian boutique opened
Time+Tide reported the opening at 360 Collins Street, Melbourne, in March 2018, in partnership with Australian retailer Kennedy. Its account described the boutique as a 60-square-metre space designed by Spanish architect Patricia Urquiola, using bronze, wood, brass and corrugated glass. A working clock shaped like a Luminor Marina dial was among its features. The article called it Panerai’s 75th boutique worldwide; both that count and the store details are figures reported at the time, not current company statistics. Time+Tide’s 2 March 2018 opening report covers the launch.
Which two watches the 2018 story featured
The watches differed in size, case material and function. The PAM 736 is a hand-wound, time-only Radiomir; the PAM 737 adds a monopulsante chronograph and second time zone in a titanium Luminor case.

How to distinguish the PAM 736 and PAM 737
- For a simpler display: the PAM 736 is the time-only option, with a larger 47 mm steel case and three-day reserve.
- For added timing and travel functions: the PAM 737 is smaller at 44 mm, uses titanium, and combines a single-button chronograph with a second time zone and an eight-day reserve.
The 2018 account described both watches as boutique-only editions available in store “right now.” That wording referred to the situation when the story was published on 2 March 2018; it does not establish present-day stock.

Panerai’s official Australian boutique locator currently lists its Melbourne boutique at Chadstone Shopping Centre, Shop 438/1341 Dandenong Road, Melbourne 3184—not at the historical Collins Street address. The listing includes accessory replacement and adjustment, case and bracelet cleaning, screw tightening and boutique pickup.
