The Patek Philippe 5320G pairs a perpetual calendar with a layout designed to keep its many indications easy to read. The current 5320G-011 has a rose-gilt opaline dial and caliber 26-330 S Q; the earlier 5320G-001 has a cream dial and a different movement, caliber 324 S Q. The distinction matters when comparing specifications, prices or pre-owned examples.
What is the Patek Philippe 5320G?
The 5320G is a white-gold perpetual-calendar wristwatch family. Patek Philippe’s current model page is for the 5320G-011, while the original 5320G-001 has been discontinued. Phillips reports that the -001 was discontinued in 2022 and replaced by the -011. The two versions share the reference family and broad calendar arrangement, but their dials and movements differ.
5320G-011: current model
The current 5320G-011 has a rose-gilt opaline dial and self-winding caliber 26-330 S Q. Patek Philippe’s US page listed it at $114,279 when accessed on October 8, 2026; the price is regional and may change. Patek Philippe’s official 5320G-011 page has the current specifications and regional pricing.
5320G-001: earlier version
The 5320G-001 is the cream or ivory-dial version, originally launched with caliber 324 S Q. Phillips reported a 2017 launch MSRP of $82,800. That launch price is historical, not the current list price for the -011. Phillips’ reference article discusses the earlier model and its history.

These are specifications listed by Patek Philippe for the current -011. They should not be carried over to the -001: the 2017 technical release gives that earlier model’s caliber 324 S Q as 367 parts, 29 jewels, a 35–45-hour power reserve, 4 Hz frequency and a 21K gold unidirectional rotor. How the perpetual calendar is arranged
The calendar is laid out to make the principal information visible without crowding the dial. Day and month appear in apertures at 12 o’clock. At 6, a hand indicates the date around the moon-phase display. Smaller apertures show day/night and leap-year information. The watch also has sweep seconds.

A perpetual calendar is a mechanically programmed calendar complication; its indications require careful setting. Use Patek Philippe’s instructions for the specific caliber rather than applying generic adjustment steps. The company’s caliber 26-330 S Q instructions explain the indications and operating context.
Design: classical display, vintage references
The 5320G’s appeal lies in the contrast between a dense complication and a dial that gives its calendar indications distinct places. The day and month apertures at the top and the date-and-moon-phase display below form a balanced, traditional arrangement. That is a design judgment, not a claim about measured legibility or wear comfort.

The case’s three-tier lug profile is one of the model’s most distinctive details. Patek Philippe links it to the Ref. 2405. The company dates its perpetual-calendar wristwatch history to model 97’975 in 1925 and identifies Ref. 1518 (1941) and Ref. 1526 (1942) as early regular-collection references. Those historical connections provide context for the 5320G’s classical styling; they do not make the current model a reproduction.
Phillips describes the -001’s dial as warm ivory lacquer, with luminous white-gold Arabic markers, a 40 mm by 11.13 mm white-gold case, three-tier faceted lugs and a box-style sapphire crystal. Those details describe the earlier cream-dial version. The current -011 instead has a rose-gilt opaline dial.

Patek Philippe’s US page listed the 5320G-011 at $114,279 on October 8, 2026. This is a US regional list price observed on that date, not a universal price or a guarantee of future pricing.
Historical auction data
Phillips reported an average of approximately $73,873 across eight publicly sold 5320G-001 examples through January 2024. This small, historical auction sample is not a current valuation and does not establish what a particular watch will sell for.

WatchCharts’ October 2026 page includes an estimated market price and active asking listings for both -001 and -011 examples, with differing conditions and currencies. An estimate or asking price is not a confirmed completed sale, and the figures should not be combined into one universal value. What to check when buying a 5320G
First identify the exact suffix: a -001 cream/ivory-dial example and a -011 rose-gilt opaline example are not interchangeable for specification or price comparisons. Then assess the individual watch and the basis for the price.
- Condition and polishing: inspect the case and especially its shaped lugs for wear or refinishing.
- Completeness: check whether box and papers are included and whether documentation corresponds to the watch.
- Seller and service history: consider seller reputation and available service documentation.
- Comparable price: distinguish official list price from a market estimate, an active asking price and a completed auction sale.
The available figures do not support a specific investment or resale prediction. A price comparison is only useful when the reference suffix, condition, currency and type of price evidence are clear.
Service and ownership
Patek Philippe says: “All Patek Philippe timepieces must be serviced by authorized retailers or authorized service centers only.” The manufacturer also says its official databases identify authorized providers. Consult its Watch Care & Service FAQ to locate the appropriate service channel.

The 5320G is a compelling choice for someone who wants a perpetual calendar presented in a traditional, organized layout, with a white-gold case and vintage-inspired lug detailing. The current -011 and discontinued -001 should be evaluated as distinct versions, not as a single specification sheet. The high US list price observed for the -011 and the need for authorized servicing are meaningful ownership considerations. No independent wear-comfort or accuracy test is available here, so those qualities should not be treated as established by the specifications alone.
