Which rose-gold 5711 is this?
The 5711/1R-001 is the all-rose-gold configuration: its case and integrated bracelet are 18k rose gold, matched with a brown gradated dial. Patek Philippe’s 2021 release describes the dial as brown at the center, shading to black at the edge. This article concerns the bracelet model, not the earlier 5711R-001 configuration on a leather strap described in some secondary coverage. What does the watch look and feel like?
In its 2015 hands-on article, Hodinkee described the dial as chocolate brown, with lighter and darker brown tones across its gradient. The reviewer also noted the contrast between mirror-polished bezel and case edges and brushed flat surfaces, and regarded the integrated bracelet as central to the design’s appeal. The 1916 Company’s 2021 review likewise describes a brown gradient dial and matching rose-gold bracelet. It lists a 40 mm case, 8.6 mm thickness and 47.7 mm lug-to-lug measurement. Specifications depend on the movement era
The 5711/1R’s published specifications should be read with their dates in mind. Hodinkee’s 2015 report describes the self-winding caliber 324 S C and a 45-hour power reserve. Patek Philippe’s 2021 release says caliber 26-330 S C had powered the 5711 since 2019 and notes its stop-seconds mechanism. These are not contradictory descriptions of one unchanged movement specification; they refer to different points in the reference’s production history.

When was the 5711/1R discontinued?
The timeline needs a distinction between the steel model announcement and the rose-gold reference. In its 2021 release, Patek Philippe said the steel 5711/1A would soon be discontinued and that the new green-dial steel model joined the 5711/1R-001 in the collection. That establishes the rose-gold model was still presented as part of the collection at that time; it does not establish its final production date. Price and current availability
Hodinkee reported a US$51,000 launch price in its July 2015 article. That is historical launch pricing, not a current valuation. The sources here do not establish a reliable present-day market value, inventory or availability.
