The Porsche Design Chronograph 1 – F.A.T. 2025 Edition puts a fully luminous white dial at the center of the familiar Chronograph 1 format. Made in a 136-piece collaboration with F.A.T. International, it pairs that dial with black hands and markers, a COSC-certified flyback movement and motorsport references to the Porsche 962.
What makes the F.A.T. 2025 Edition different?
Its defining change is the white dial, fully coated in Super-LumiNova, rather than a conventional dark Chronograph 1 dial. Black indices and hands provide contrast, while a red stop-seconds hand adds a bright accent. Porsche Design says the luminous dial is intended to improve legibility; that is the maker’s stated aim, not a published independent performance test. Porsche Design’s January 2025 announcement describes it as the brand’s first chronograph with an entirely white dial.
The dial also carries details tied to the Porsche 962: Porsche Design identifies a 962 silhouette on the hour counter and numerals forming “962” at six o’clock. The watch was created with F.A.T. International, whose Ice Race connection is part of the edition’s motorsport framing.
Case, dial and straps
The official 2025 specification lists a 40.80 mm titanium case with black titanium-carbide coating and a height of 14.15 mm. Water resistance is rated to 10 bar dynamically. The sapphire crystal has sevenfold anti-reflective treatment and hard coating on both sides. These figures are from Porsche Design’s technical specification.

The official announcement lists a coated titanium bracelet and an additional white F.A.T. Ice Race textile strap. Porsche’s US product page also lists a Mankei Purple textile/leather strap. Porsche describes the strap system as quick-change; the listing of additional straps does not establish that they are available for separate purchase.
Movement and chronograph functions
Power comes from the automatic Porsche Design WERK 01.240, a COSC-certified flyback chronograph caliber. Its specifications include a 48-hour power reserve, 25 jewels and a rate of 4 Hz, or 28,800 half-oscillations per hour. It also displays the day and date bilingually. A flyback function lets the wearer stop, reset and restart timing in one operation, instead of stopping the chronograph, resetting it and starting it again as separate actions. Porsche Design presents this as useful for lap timing; the statement describes the intended function, not an independent timing assessment.
Edition size and price
Porsche Design announced the Chronograph 1 – F.A.T. 2025 Edition in January 2025, with ordering scheduled to begin on February 1, 2025. The edition is limited to 136 pieces, and the maker’s announced retail price was €10,936. These are the launch details in the official release.

Those launch figures are distinct from the US retailer listing: when checked on October 8, 2026, the Porsche Shop US page displayed $11,500 excluding tax and marked the watch sold out. Retail pricing and stock can vary by market and change over time, so that listing does not establish worldwide availability.

The US Porsche Shop listing was marked sold out at the time noted above. That is a status for one regional product page, not proof that every Porsche Design retailer or secondary-market seller has no examples.
