How the dashboard design fits Porsche Design’s history
The P’6620’s Dashboard name sits within a broader design lineage rather than proving any particular performance characteristic. Porsche Design’s heritage material describes a philosophy of functional reduction and identifies dashboard-like contrast and legibility as ideas in its watch history. Porsche’s newsroom recounts that Ferdinand Alexander Porsche’s 1972 Chronograph I drew inspiration from the 911 instrument panel. That is useful context for the design concept, not evidence that the P’6620 has been independently tested for legibility.

Is the P’6620 worth buying?
The answer depends on the individual watch, its asking price and your priorities.
