Rado’s U.S. product listing showed six variants at $4,250 each when accessed October 8, 2026. The available official sources do not establish an exact introduction date for the Diver variant, so it should not be described as a confirmed 2026 unveiling.
What is the Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Diver?
It is a ceramic-cased member of Rado’s Captain Cook collection, cataloged by the brand as the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Diver. Rado’s U.S. product page lists six 43.0 mm automatic variants. The page describes a monobloc case and a circular-brushed high-tech ceramic bezel insert, with engraved numerals and markers and a titanium screw-down case back. Rado’s U.S. product listing is the reference for current variant details.
Rado says the monobloc construction contributes structural stability while keeping the watch’s outer dimensions and weight lower. That is the manufacturer’s explanation of the design; the product information cited here does not include independent measurements or testing to quantify those effects.

How much does the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Diver cost?
Rado’s U.S. listing showed each of its six displayed variants at $4,250 when accessed October 8, 2026. That is a catalog price, not a guarantee of current price, stock or eventual transaction price. Check the exact reference on Rado’s current U.S. product page before buying.
The listing excerpt does not enumerate all six reference numbers or every difference in colorway and strap or bracelet configuration. Confirm the individual variant’s materials and configuration on its own product listing rather than assuming that all details are identical.

Is this a newly unveiled watch?
The official sources establish useful context, but not an exact launch date for the Diver-specific model. Rado dates the Captain Cook design to 1962 and says the 43 mm High-Tech Ceramic Captain Cook was presented in 2021 on its Captain Cook collection page. That does not, by itself, establish that the High-Tech Ceramic Diver variant debuted in 2021.
Rado’s press-release archive includes releases dated in 2026, but its available excerpt does not identify a release matching the headline “Rado Unveils New Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Diver Watches.” The exact date of the Diver variant’s introduction therefore remains unconfirmed by these official materials; “new” should not be read as proof of a 2026 debut. Rado also has a 2021 technical press-release PDF titled “Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Diver technical specifications,” but the existence of that document alone does not establish a precise announcement date for the model: Rado’s technical press-release PDF.
