One visible distinction from the predecessor 16520 is the constant-seconds subdial: Sotheby’s describes it at 6 o’clock on the 116520, compared with 9 o’clock on the 16520. The reference also retains the steel case, bezel and bracelet design broadly associated with its predecessor, according to the auction catalogue. This is a layout and reference-generation distinction, not evidence of a performance advantage.

Phillips and Sotheby’s each state a 40 mm diameter for their respective 116520 examples.
