How the bezel and Oysterflex bracelet shape the watch
Bidirectional Cerachrom bezel

Oysterflex bracelet
Rolex describes Oysterflex as flexible metal blades overmoulded with high-performance elastomer. It is therefore not simply a conventional rubber strap, nor is the watch fitted with a full white-gold bracelet. The Oysterlock clasp includes Glidelock adjustment; Rolex’s US page describes about 15 mm of adjustment in roughly 2.5 mm increments without tools. Actual comfort and fit depend on the wearer, and this guide does not claim a wrist-fit test.
Movement, accuracy and power reserve
Calibre 3235 is Rolex’s self-winding mechanical movement for the 226659, with a Perpetual rotor that winds in both directions. Rolex lists central hours, minutes and seconds, an instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds. The company specifies −2/+2 seconds per day after casing and an approximately 70-hour power reserve. These are Rolex’s stated standards and figures; they should not be mistaken for measured results from an independent test of this particular watch.
