What is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Celebration dial?
“Celebration” is Rolex’s name for a dial motif, not a separate watch family or complication. The official Oyster Perpetual brochure describes a turquoise-blue background with bubbles in candy pink, yellow, coral red and green, each outlined in black. The result is playful and graphic against the Oyster Perpetual’s simple three-hand format.

Rolex writes: “Named ‘Celebration’, this brand-new motif is available for the Oyster Perpetual 31, Oyster Perpetual 36 and Oyster Perpetual 41.”
Which sizes came with the Celebration motif?
Rolex’s brochure identifies three sizes: 31 mm, 36 mm and 41 mm. These are case diameters, not a ranking of which version is best; wrist proportions and personal preference matter more than choosing the largest or smallest by default.

- 31 mm: The smallest documented Celebration option. The reviewed Rolex features page does not establish its movement specifications, so they should be checked against the specific watch and reference.
- 36 mm: The middle documented size. Rolex’s current features page says calibre 3230 powers the current Oyster Perpetual 36, but that collection-level information does not confirm every specification of a historical Celebration example.
- 41 mm: The largest documented size. Rolex’s current features page likewise identifies calibre 3230 for the current Oyster Perpetual 41, not necessarily every historical Celebration reference.
The brochure establishes which sizes Rolex offered with the motif; it does not, on its own, provide a complete reference-by-reference specification sheet.
Is the Celebration dial still in Rolex’s current collection?
The Rolex US collection listing reviewed on October 8, 2026, shows current Oyster Perpetual models but does not show the Celebration motif. That is a statement about the page and date reviewed, not proof of an official discontinuation date. Catalogs, regional listings and stock can differ, and the current models’ listed US prices do not establish the Celebration’s original retail price or its present secondary-market value.
Rolex describes the Oyster case as providing water and dust protection and the collection as having three central hands and Superlative Chronometer certification. These are collection-level manufacturer claims. They should not be treated as a guarantee of water resistance for a particular pre-owned watch, whose condition and service history matter.

What to check before buying one pre-owned
Rolex says only official Rolex retailers are allowed to sell and maintain its watches. A third-party listing should not be treated as an authorized Rolex sale unless the seller’s status is verified. For any pre-owned Celebration, check the specific watch rather than relying on a dial description alone:
