The reference is 126610LV, not 122610LV. Rolex calls it the Submariner Date; “Ceramic Kermit” is an informal collector nickname, not the official model name. The current Rolex listing describes a 41 mm Oystersteel watch with a green Cerachrom bezel and black dial.
Is the Rolex Submariner 126610LV the “Ceramic Kermit”?
It can be called that informally, but the nickname needs context. Rolex’s official name is Submariner Date, reference 126610LV. Collectors also use “Cermit” and “Starbucks” for this green-bezel, black-dial generation, while “Kermit” is also used for an older green-bezel Submariner. Nickname usage is inconsistent, so the reference is the clearest way to identify the watch.
The official reference is confirmed by Rolex’s current product listing and its 2020 Submariner brochure. The title’s “122610LV” appears to be a typo.
What are the 126610LV’s specifications?
Rolex’s current US product page, accessed October 7, 2026, lists the following specifications and a regional catalog price. The price is not a resale estimate.

Use the reference and official model name rather than a nickname when checking a listing: Rolex Submariner Date, reference 126610LV. Rolex states, “Only official Rolex jewelers are allowed to sell and maintain a Rolex watch.” Its product page says official jewelers have the skills, technical knowledge, and special equipment to guarantee the authenticity of parts.
