The Rolex Yacht-Master 42 in RLX titanium is reference 226627, a 42 mm watch with an intense black dial and a bidirectional bezel fitted with a matt black Cerachrom insert. Rolex introduced the model in 2023; its published specifications pair the titanium case and bracelet with calibre 3235, approximately 70 hours of power reserve and 100-metre water resistance.
What is the Rolex Yacht-Master 42 reference 226627?
Reference 226627 is Rolex’s 42 mm Yacht-Master in RLX titanium. Its Oyster case has a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back and screw-down Triplock crown. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal covers the intense black dial, with a Cyclops lens over the date.
Rolex describes RLX titanium as a grade 5 titanium alloy and says it can be finished with polished or satin surfaces according to the brand’s specifications. In its 2023 launch video, Rolex presented the material as particularly lightweight, mechanically strong and corrosion-resistant; those are manufacturer descriptions, not independent test findings.
How are the dial, bezel and bracelet configured?
Black dial and ceramic bezel
The intense black dial has a Chromalight display with long-lasting blue luminescence. The bidirectional rotatable bezel carries a 60-minute graduation in a matt black Cerachrom ceramic insert, with polished raised numerals and graduations.

RLX titanium Oyster bracelet
The three-piece solid-link Oyster bracelet is made from RLX titanium. Rolex specifies an Oysterlock folding safety clasp designed to prevent accidental opening and an Easylink comfort extension link that changes bracelet length by approximately 5 mm. Rolex also says ceramic inserts inside the bracelet links are intended to improve flexibility and longevity.
What movement and performance does Rolex specify?
Reference 226627 uses Rolex calibre 3235, a Perpetual mechanical self-winding movement wound bidirectionally by its rotor. Its listed functions are central hours, minutes and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds.

Rolex states the precision figure as an after-casing specification. The water-resistance rating is a manufacturer specification, not a recommendation to operate the bezel or crown underwater.
