The no-date watch has a 38.5 mm stainless-steel case. Monochrome reported a launch price of €6,550 on 23 December 2020; that is a historical price, not a confirmed current quote.
What makes the Felix Foudroyante unusual?
Its two seconds indications show the passage of time in different ways. At 9 o’clock, the foudroyante hand completes one rotation each second. In the center, the dead-beat seconds hand advances in distinct one-second jumps rather than sweeping continuously. Habring²’s 2020 brochure describes the foudroyante as indicating the escape wheel’s rotation and each oscillation of the regulating organ; the brochure also calculates 86,400 rotations per day from the hand’s one-turn-per-second rate. That daily figure is arithmetic, not a separate performance claim.
The combination is the defining feature: a fast-moving subdial hand and a sharply stepping central seconds hand share one watch. The maker calls the central complication patented dead-beat center seconds.

Habring² gives the movement a 30 mm diameter and 6.6 mm height. Its listed features include tangential-screw fine regulation, an amagnetic escapement, a Carl Haas balance spring and KIF shock protection. The maker also describes polished bevels, decorative grinding and perlage among the hand-finishing details, and counts 77 service-relevant parts.

Monochrome reported that the foudroyante wheel construction changed from aluminium to silicon for the main wheel and nickel-phosphor for the small skeletonized LIGA wheel beginning in 2017. This is the specialist publication’s account of the construction, rather than a separately stated current specification from Habring².
How the Salmon dial is identified
The Salmon version was described at launch as having a vertically brushed salmon-colored dial, silver-colored markers and numerals, and polished steel hands. It came on a leather strap with a pin buckle, with other strap options available on request at the time. Habring²’s 2020 brochure documents an earlier silver-white dial version, so those dial details should not be mistaken for the Salmon configuration. The maker’s Foudroyante-Felix page includes an image labeled for the Salmon variant.
Price and availability
Monochrome reported €6,550 for the Salmon variant on 23 December 2020 and said it could then be ordered directly from Habring² and its retailers. This is the dated launch price; the available information does not establish today’s price, stock, production status or country-specific availability. Prices reported for other watches in Habring²’s Salmon collection are not substitutes for this figure. For example, SJX’s 16 September 2019 collection report listed prices for several other Felix-family models, but those listings do not establish the price of the Felix Foudroyante Salmon.
