Rubber B’s Flared Glidelock Edition discussed here is made for the Rolex Deepsea reference 116660 and is designed to use your existing Rolex Glidelock clasp. It is not compatible with the 126660; Rubber B lists separate straps for the 126660 and 136660. Check the reference on your watch before ordering, because “Deepsea” and the clasp type alone do not establish fit.
Which Deepsea references does this strap fit?
Rubber B identifies its Flared Glidelock Edition for the Deepsea 116660 and expressly excludes the 126660 from that product listing. The brand has a separate Glidelock Edition for the 126660 and 136660, which in turn excludes the 116660 and other Sea-Dweller models. See the 116660 product page and the 126660/136660 product page for the maker’s stated fit.
Read the reference on your watch rather than relying on its model name or the fact that it has a Glidelock clasp. These products are reference-specific; do not assume one generation’s strap will fit another.
What is included, and what happens to the clasp?
The 116660 strap is designed to mount the owner’s own Rolex Glidelock clasp. Rubber B says the watch and buckle are not included, so this is a replacement strap, not a complete watch-and-strap set. Make sure you have the clasp needed for installation before purchasing.

Rubber B describes the strap as part of its carbon-fiber series, made in Switzerland from pure vulcanized rubber and shaped for a custom fit without links from the original Oyster bracelet. It also says the full Glidelock extension system remains usable. These are the manufacturer’s product claims, not independently measured performance findings.
How to choose the right size
Rubber B’s dealer sizing guide, dated 2021, bases Glidelock strap selection on the number of links in the owner’s Oyster bracelet and separates sizing charts according to whether the diver extension is retained. If you plan to keep the diver extension
Count the Oyster bracelet links and use the chart labeled for use with the diver extension. The guide’s method is to match the link count to that chart rather than guess from wrist circumference alone.
If you plan not to use the diver extension
The guide recommends adding rubber equivalent to two Oyster links, then choosing the chart labeled for not using the diver extension. Confirm that approach against the current sizing guidance for your exact strap before placing the order.

What Glidelock adjustment does—and does not—change
Rolex’s 2024 Deepsea user guide describes the Oyster bracelet’s Glidelock as adjusting in approximately 2 mm increments, up to around 20 mm, to allow wear over a diving suit. Rubber B says its strap design retains access to that extension system when used with the owner’s clasp. Rolex also identifies the Deepsea Oyster bracelet as having an Oysterlock safety clasp and its patented Glidelock extension system. See the Rolex user guides and the Rolex Deepsea product page.
Glidelock’s fine adjustment is useful for changing fit, but it does not make a strap compatible across references. Check case reference first, then settle the extension configuration and sizing.
