Samsung’s current U.S. product page advertises the broader Galaxy Watch Ultra line from $649.99 before trade-in. That starting price does not establish the current market value or availability of a 2024 watch. Check the listing’s model year, condition, seller, return terms, and price before purchase.
Size, fit, and bands
The LTE model measures 47.4 × 47.1 × 12.1 mm and weighs 60.5 g, according to Samsung. Consider whether that relatively large, heavy watch will suit your wrist and intended use before buying.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra uses Samsung’s Dynamic Lug System. Samsung says bands from other watch models are not interchangeable, so select a band specifically designed for the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Do not assume that a band for another Galaxy Watch will fit.

Battery life: compare the estimates by mode
Samsung lists a typical battery capacity of 590 mAh. Its UK specifications estimate up to 80 hours with the always-on display (AOD) off and up to 60 hours with AOD on. Samsung’s UK product material separately advertises up to 100 hours in power-saving mode. These are manufacturer estimates for different modes, not independent test results or a single everyday runtime guarantee.
When judging battery life, compare the mode and display setting relevant to how you plan to use the watch. Capacity alone does not determine how long it will last.
Phone and connectivity compatibility
Samsung’s U.S. support information lists Android 11 or later for phone compatibility. Samsung says Watch4 and later models depend on Google Play services, which iOS does not support, so the Galaxy Watch Ultra is not compatible with an iPhone. Samsung phones offer the broadest compatibility options, but Samsung’s stated Android requirement does not limit the watch to Samsung phones.

Durability ratings
Samsung specifies 10 ATM and IP68 and cites MIL-STD-810H for the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Treat these as manufacturer ratings and claims, not a promise that every activity or exposure is safe. Check Samsung’s manual and the conditions for your intended activity rather than assuming the watch is suitable for unrestricted water use.
