What is the SB05 Sunfl0wer?
Listed by Sartory-Billard as the “SB05 SUNFLOWER,” reference SB05SUN, the watch pairs the independent watchmaker’s SB05 with Studio Underd0g. Studio Underd0g identifies the project as “SB05 Sunflower For Sartory Billard,” and its logo appears on the dial plate. Fratello reports that Studio Underd0g conceived the dial and Sartory-Billard produced it. Sartory-Billard’s product page and Studio Underd0g’s site identify the collaboration; Fratello’s March 31, 2025 launch coverage adds context.
How does the sunflower dial work?
The dial uses contrasting textures and colors rather than a literal printed flower. The outer golden section has grand-grain guilloché. A brown central disk and the small-seconds subdial use the same pattern. Above them, a sapphire disk carries printed gold hour markers and a black minute track. Fratello describes the golden outer surface as engraved with 24 petals; that specific count comes from its launch coverage, not Sartory-Billard’s specification list.

At 38.50 mm wide and 8.50 mm high, the case has restrained dimensions for a dress-oriented watch, while its 45.50 mm lug-to-lug measurement is useful context for wrist fit. Sartory-Billard specifies a 20 mm curved strap. Fratello names The Strap Tailor as the maker, whereas Sartory-Billard’s supplier list names Scarlett; the sources do not reconcile those attributions. A 20 mm width alone does not guarantee that an aftermarket strap will fit the curved attachment.

Movement and winding
The watch is manual-wind, using La Joux-Perret reference 7380, identified on Sartory-Billard’s page as caliber SBM01. The listed specifications are a 30.00 mm diameter, 2.90 mm height, 3 Hz frequency, 21 jewels and a 90-hour power reserve, with NAC dark metallic grey finishing. Sartory-Billard credits La Joux-Perret for the movement, Voutilainen & Cattin for the case and hands, Comblémine for guilloché and assembly, and Lature for packaging.
Edition size, launch price and availability
Sartory-Billard says the SB05 Sunfl0wer is limited to 10 units, available from April 4, 2025, with delivery from summer 2025. Its product page lists €12,700 and currently marks the watch sold out. Fratello reported that sales were scheduled to begin April 4 at 15:00 CEST, at €12,700 excluding VAT. These figures describe the original listing and launch terms, not a current resale value. Neither the official listing nor the cited launch coverage establishes secondary-market stock or asking prices.
