Case, dial and wearing proportions
The stainless-steel case measures 39 mm across and 13.3 mm high including the domed sapphire crystal; Hanhart gives the height without the glass as 11.55 mm. The lug width is 20 mm. The case combines satin and polished surfaces, with a screw-down case back. A black dial uses a historical logo and typeface, while the numerals and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova.
That 39 mm diameter gives the watch a relatively restrained footprint for a chronograph, but the stated thickness is still worth considering if you prefer watches that sit close to the wrist or need to slide under a tight cuff. Movement and chronograph functions
The watch is powered by the hand-wound Sellita SW 510 M. Hanhart specifies a 58-hour power reserve, a 4 Hz (28,800 A/h) beat rate and 23 jewels. Its functions are a small seconds display, a 30-minute chronograph counter, central chronograph seconds and hacking seconds. Hand-winding is part of the ownership experience: there is no automatic winding, so the watch needs to be wound manually as required.
Bezel, crystal and water resistance
The fluted bezel rotates continuously in both directions and has a red insert. A bidirectional bezel can be used to mark elapsed time, but unlike a unidirectional dive-watch bezel, it can also be turned forward, so it should not be treated as a dive-timing safety feature. The convex sapphire crystal has internal anti-reflective treatment.
