Designer Éric Giroud conceived its deconstructed pattern for the Roma collection; the original silver and salmon versions arrived in 2023, followed by a black variant reported in 2025. Here is how the dial, movement, editions, and launch-era prices fit together.
What makes the Geometry dial unusual?
Rather than repeating one pattern across the face, the Geometry divides its 18k gold dial into four quadrants. Contrasting textures set concentric arcs against straight ridges, giving each section a distinct surface. Schwarz Etienne’s GPHG model record identifies fluted lines, azuré, Clous de Paris, and fine sandblasting among the treatments.
A Monochrome hands-on report describes additional visual details, including snailed arcs, fan-like pleats, Clous de Paris texture, and flat sandblasted areas. It names Metalem as the dialmaker and characterizes the dial as a joint creation by Schwarz Etienne, Giroud, and Metalem. The small-seconds display is at six o’clock; lancine-style hands indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds.
Giroud described the design as “a tribute to traditional guillochage through a contemporary, deconstructed approach which introduces a new element,” in a statement reproduced by Europa Star. Monochrome’s assessment is that the complexity does not prevent the dial from remaining legible; that is a reviewer’s impression, not a measured legibility test.

Case and movement specifications
The original Geometry pairs its textured dial with a polished stainless-steel case and a sapphire display back. The automatic ASE 200.02 calibre uses a micro-rotor. The figures below are published specifications, not independent test results.

The GPHG record describes a grey brass main plate, sandblasted bridges with polished bevels and tone-on-tone engraving, and a ratchet wheel with diamond drops and snailing. The exhibition back makes these movement details visible.

Silver, salmon, and black: versions and references
The 2023 launch comprised silver and salmon dial options. Monochrome reports 100 pieces in each color and lists these references:

The original silver and salmon versions use color-coordinated leather straps and folding steel buckles, according to GPHG and Monochrome. The black Geometry is a later, separate variant—not an original 2023 colorway. Monochrome reports the same 39 mm steel case, 50 m water resistance, ASE 200.02 movement family, and stated 86-hour reserve, alongside black PVD movement finishing and an aged black leather strap.

Published launch-era prices vary by source, model, and currency; they should not be read as current asking prices or converted into a single valuation.
