The Seiko Presage Cocktail Time Irori Moments SRPK50J is a 2023 Australasian limited edition announced in a run of 1,000 watches. Its golden, textured dial takes its cue from Irori Moments, a bespoke cocktail created by Australian whisky distillery LARK. Seiko’s announcement lists the watch’s main physical specifications but contradicts itself on the movement caliber, so the exact caliber is not established by that release.
Release context and availability
Seiko announced the SRPK50J on 21 September 2023 as a limited edition for Australasia. The release said it would be available from October 2023 at Seiko boutiques and selected retail stores across Australia. Seiko stated that the edition was limited to 1,000 pieces, individually numbered on the case back, and presented in a whisky-barrel timber box. These are launch details; they do not establish present-day stock or availability.
Seiko gave a recommended retail price of NZD 1,100 in that 2023 announcement. The release also cautioned that price and specification information was current as of publication and could change, so NZD 1,100 is historical launch pricing rather than a current quote.
Design inspiration: LARK’s Irori Moments cocktail
Seiko describes the SRPK50J as a tribute to Irori Moments, a bespoke cocktail created by Australian whisky distillery LARK. “Irori” refers to the traditional Japanese hearth: Seiko frames it as a place for people to gather, relax and share memories. The release connects the dial’s rich golden hues and textured surface to the cocktail’s warm, inviting colours, while the long, shining markers draw on the lines of a cocktail glass.

In Seiko’s account of the cocktail concept, it brings together LARK Tasmanian Peated Whisky and classical peated whiskies from Japan, such as Yoichi, with Tasmanian-grown wasabi from Shima Wasabi and local plums. The intended profile combines earthy, fruity and floral notes with a subtle smoky finish. This is the manufacturer’s description of the inspiration, not an independently verified recipe.
The wider Cocktail Time collection is described by Seiko as a Presage line with vibrant, glossy cocktail-inspired dials and slim, shining markers that evoke a cocktail glass stem. That collection-level description helps explain the design language, but it should not be mistaken for a separate specification of this reference.

Why Seiko’s announcement conflicts on the caliber
The 21 September 2023 release names Calibre 4R35 in its introductory paragraph, then lists Calibre 4R36 in the specifications block. Seiko’s caliber instructions distinguish the two: 4R35 has a date display and 23 jewels, while 4R36 has day-and-date display and 24 jewels. The instructions give both a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and approximately 41 hours of operating time.

The announcement does not resolve its own discrepancy, and the available official information cited here does not independently establish which caliber is fitted to this exact reference. It is therefore not sound to choose one caliber—or to assign its display functions and jewel count to the SRPK50J—as a confirmed specification.
What the launch price does and does not tell you
NZD 1,100 was Seiko’s recommended retail price at the 2023 announcement. It does not establish what the SRPK50J costs now, whether it remains available new, or what an individual seller is asking on the secondary market. No current stock or seller pricing is established here.
