The Seiko Prospex Sea SRPM04K “Kame” is a 1,000-piece Australasian limited edition inspired by Fitzroy Island and the surrounding Great Barrier Reef waters. It is a 45 mm automatic diver with 200 m diver’s water resistance, a stainless-steel bracelet and an additional silicone strap. Seiko’s launch announcement described availability from November 2025; that release timing does not establish whether it is in stock now.
What is the Seiko SRPM04K “Kame”?
Seiko Australia identifies the watch as the Prospex Sea Australasian Limited Edition “Kame,” reference SRPM04K, and states that the edition is limited to 1,000 pieces. Seiko New Zealand lists the Kame Limited Edition as SRPM04. The regional reference naming differs; the Australian page is the source for the SRPM04K designation and edition quantity. What inspired the design?
Seiko says the watch takes inspiration from Fitzroy Island and the waters around the Great Barrier Reef. Its Australian product page connects “Kame” to a turtle adopted through the company’s partnership with the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre, and says a portion of each watch sale is donated to the centre. Seiko’s launch description framed the design around the island’s changing colours and light, calling it a tribute to the landscape and the harmony between nature and sea.
