Published specifications list a 4R36 automatic movement, 200 m diver’s water resistance and a 45 mm case. It is described as a special edition, but the available sources do not establish that it is limited.
What makes the SRPJ35 different?
The SRPJ35 keeps the Turtle’s familiar cushion-shaped stainless-steel case and day-date layout, then adds an aquatic color scheme. Monochrome’s January 2022 hands-on coverage calls it the Tropical Lagoon and describes a two-tone aluminium bezel insert; Fratello’s December 2022 introduction also identifies the blue-and-green treatment and seafoam minute hand. Seiko’s regional listing and Monochrome specify day/date, 24 jewels and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. These are published specifications, not results from an independently measured sample.

Monochrome reports Seiko’s claimed accuracy range for the 4R36 as −35 to +45 seconds per day. That is the manufacturer’s stated range, not a measured rate for an SRPJ35 sample or a guarantee that an individual watch will run at a particular rate.
How large is the SRPJ35 on the wrist?
The key fit figures are 45 mm across and 47.7 mm from lug to lug. Thickness is reported as either 13.2 or 13.4 mm, depending on the listing. Those dimensions describe the case; they do not determine wrist fit on their own. The cushion profile and lug-to-lug measurement are useful context, but try it on if possible, especially if you prefer compact divers.

The Philippines and Malaysia listings also differ in reported weight. That discrepancy does not establish a physical difference between market variants. Check the exact reference and included bracelet or strap when comparing regional listings.
Bracelet, crystal and water-resistance details
Monochrome describes a three-link steel bracelet with a folding clasp and diving extension. Seiko Boutique Philippines lists a secure three-fold clasp with push-button release and extender. Seiko Boutique Malaysia gives a 22 mm distance between the lugs. These sources do not establish that every SRPJ35 market configuration ships with the same bracelet or strap, so confirm the contents of the particular listing.

The crystal is Hardlex, not sapphire, according to the cited product specifications. Seiko’s Philippines store states a 200 m / 660 ft diver’s water-resistance rating. This is a stated product rating, not a reason to exceed manufacturer guidance; water resistance also depends on the watch’s condition and maintenance.
Price and availability depend on the market
Prices reported at launch were regional and are historical, not current quotes. Monochrome’s January 2022 article listed EUR 530, while Time+Tide reported AU$825. The Seiko Philippines online-store listing displayed ₱25,820 and showed the model as sold out when accessed on October 8, 2026. That status applies to that page at that time, not to all retailers or markets.

For a purchase, confirm the reference, seller, local price, taxes, warranty and stock in your own market. The Philippines listing’s page title and product content identify SRPJ35K1, although its URL slug contains “srpj51k1”; verify the model details on the live page rather than relying on the slug alone. The SRPJ35 is a straightforward choice for someone who wants the established Turtle case and day-date arrangement with a more vivid bezel and minute hand. It is less suitable for someone seeking a smaller case, a sapphire crystal, or a watch whose current local price and stock can be assumed from older launch coverage. When comparing it with another diver, use the same market and date for price, and compare case dimensions, crystal, movement, bracelet configuration and water-resistance rating—not color alone.
