One black-and-green design, two different watch identities
Both editions are presented with black cases and dials, green LumiBrite-coated hands and indices, and the same low-light legibility rationale. That shared palette makes them a coordinated pair, but it does not make them the same kind of watch. The SPB335J1 draws on the Turtle diver family; the SPB337J1 carries the Alpinist’s outdoor-sport identity. SPB335J1: the Turtle-family choice
Choose the SPB335J1 if the Turtle lineage is the draw. Seiko calls it a Prospex Turtle re-interpretation; its blacked-out finish and green lume adapt that diver-family identity to the Black Series. Fratello reports a 200m water-resistance rating for the model.

SPB337J1: the Alpinist-family choice
The SPB337J1 is the series’ Alpinist interpretation. Its black-and-green finish gives the Alpinist’s outdoor-sport lineage the same visual treatment as the Turtle, rather than turning it into a diver-family model. Fratello reports 200m water resistance for this reference as well.
Movement and specifications Seiko lists for both
Seiko India lists caliber 6R35, a 70-hour power reserve and precision of +25 to -15 seconds per day for each reference. These are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee of an individual watch’s measured accuracy or independent test results. SPB335J1 specifications · SPB337J1 specifications
