What makes the Reverso Tribute Enamel Horse distinctive?
The defining feature is the contrast between the watch’s two faces. The front presents a black opaque Grand Feu enamel dial; turn the Reverso case over and its reverse shows a sculptural horse emerging among golden clouds, engraved into the enamelled surface. Jaeger-LeCoultre announced the piece on 9 September 2025 as a tribute to Lunar New Year 2026 and describes it as the fourth zodiac edition after the Tiger, Dragon and Snake. The reversible case has a practical origin as well as an artistic role. Jaeger-LeCoultre says, “The Reverso was conceived as a solution for polo players who needed to protect the dial and glass of their watch when playing on the field.” On this edition, that protected reverse becomes a miniature canvas.
How are the enamel and engraving made?
Black Grand Feu enamel
Jaeger-LeCoultre says the black enamel is built in five to six successive layers. Each layer is fired and cooled before the surface is polished; the product page gives a firing temperature of 800°C. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions of its process, not independently measured production figures. Official product page

Engraving on the reverse
The horse is modelled in relief on a caseback already coated with Grand Feu enamel, a delicate surface on which to work. For each piece, Jaeger-LeCoultre says the engraving takes 80 hours and uses 10 differently sized chisels. The work and edition figures are manufacturer-published claims from 2025.

How much does it cost, and is it available?
Jaeger-LeCoultre does not publish a numeric price on the product page; it says “Price available upon request” and directs visitors to check boutique availability or book an appointment. The announcement confirms a 10-piece edition, but the official pages do not establish whether any pieces remain available or what the watch sells for on the secondary market. Contact the brand or a boutique for current availability and pricing rather than treating the limited-edition announcement as confirmation of stock.

The official page lists a black alligator strap with quick-release interchangeability and a 20 mm lug width. That establishes the listed strap category and width, but not compatibility with any particular third-party strap or attachment. Before buying a replacement, confirm it fits reference Q39324D3 and its attachment system; lug width alone does not guarantee fit.
