What the 500 m and certification claims mean
Sinn states that the watch is water- and pressure-resistant to 500 m diving depth (50 bar) and independently certified. HATTA’s launch announcement reports that DNV confirmed pressure resistance to 500 m and certified testing under European diving-equipment standards EN250 and EN14143. HATTA also lists DIN standards relating to water resistance and diving safety.
