Fratello’s hands-on article concerns the original grey-dial reference 1052.061; Sinn’s product page currently presents the blue-dial T50 GOLDBRONZE B, reference 1052.062. The distinctions matter if you are comparing specifications or looking for one to buy.
Two references, two dials
The original T50 Goldbronze, reference 1052.061, has a grey dial with decorative grinding, described by Fratello as “Dekorschliff.” Sinn’s currently presented T50 GOLDBRONZE B is reference 1052.062 and has a dark blue dial. Both are described as limited to 300 pieces, but current inventory for either reference is not established.
Lex Stolk’s Fratello article is a first-person account of the original 1052.061. Its observations about the watch’s appearance and appeal are subjective impressions, not independent testing of the blue-dial B. The specifications below for the B are those Sinn lists on its product page.

What Goldbronze 125 is—and what Sinn says about aging
Sinn describes Goldbronze 125 as its own developed and patented alloy of copper, tin, and gold. For this watch, the company says the alloy contains one-eighth gold. Sinn says the alloy oxidizes more slowly than conventional bronze and that its high purity improves skin compatibility and seawater corrosion resistance. These are manufacturer claims; the cited product information does not provide an independent materials study.
Bronze can develop a darker surface as it reacts with its environment. Sinn says light oxidation on this alloy can be removed with the special Goldbronze cloth supplied with the watch. That describes the manufacturer’s stated care method, not a guarantee that the case will retain a particular color or that every wearer will experience the alloy identically.

Size, construction, and wearing details
For reference 1052.062, Sinn lists a 41 mm case, 12.3 mm thickness, 20 mm lug width, and 73 g weight without a strap. The case, crown, and bezel are bead-blasted Goldbronze 125. A screw-fastened high-strength titanium case back contacts the wrist; Sinn says it uses titanium there to avoid skin reactions from that surface. This should not be read as a guarantee about allergy outcomes for every wearer or every part of the watch.
The B is supplied with a blue textile strap. Its 20 mm lug width may make other 20 mm straps worth considering, but width alone does not establish compatibility: end shape, spring bars, buckle, and fit preferences also matter. Sinn lists a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.

Movement and everyday functions
Sinn specifies a self-winding SW 300-1 movement for the B, with 25 jewels, 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, a stop-seconds function, and a date. Its product page does not state the B’s power reserve. Fratello reports 56 hours for the original 1052.061, but that figure should not be transferred to the B without confirming the movement and version details.
The crown is positioned at 4 o’clock. Sinn also lists Ar-Dehumidifying Technology and low-pressure resistance. Those are documented features; the available product information does not independently test how they perform in use.

- Natural Patina Finish: Each bronze case ages uniquely—stains, water spots, and dulling are natural, not flaws. Humidity, saltwater, and body chemistry may accelerate oxidation, adding distinctive verdigris character. Embrace the organic evolution
What the 500-meter dive rating means
Sinn lists water and pressure resistance of 500 m / 50 bar for the B and says the watch was certified by an independent institute. The product page references DIN 8310, DIN 8306, EN 250, and EN 14143, and describes testing against European standards for diving equipment. Sinn does not name the institute on the accessed page, so the certification claim should be attributed to the manufacturer rather than treated as an independently verified test report.
The watch has a captive safety bezel with a guard intended to prevent accidental misadjustment. Sinn’s operating instruction is “Press first, then turn.” The page also specifies color-separated luminous elements: the hour hand and indices glow green, while the minute and second hands and the bezel’s main marker glow blue. These are manufacturer-listed design features, not performance results from an independent test.

Price, limited production, and availability
When accessed in 2026, Sinn listed the T50 GOLDBRONZE B 1052.062 at €4,980 including tax, plus applicable shipping. The page showed an estimated Germany delivery time of 5–7 days. Both price and delivery information are location-specific and can change; they do not establish current stock in any market.
Sinn says the B is limited to 300 pieces. Fratello also describes the original 1052.061 as a 300-piece limited edition. Stolk’s 2023 article suggested contacting Sinn to be directed to sales partners that might still have the original, but that is not confirmation of availability today. For either reference, ask Sinn or an authorized sales partner for current stock and the price applicable in your market. Sinn states a three-year worldwide manufacturer warranty against material and manufacturing defects, subject to its exclusions.
